Mark Sinclair delivered everything he promised, in difficult circumstances; it was a large complex project, on a hill, with seven stories at the back. Not only was there major dry rot and leaks that needed to be addressed, but the weather was extremely bad during the project...and we had to be out of the country for a full two months just as the project began! Mark said "go, relax, don't worry, I'll ensure everything is taken care of"...and he and his crew delivered! The crew was well supervised and meticulous in every dimension: carpentry, dry rot repair, and the paint job was second to none.

Mark and his team recently helped us replace the siding and paint the entire exterior of a 2-unit condo building. The front was 4 stories and the back was 6-stories, and they had to take the scaffolding over the neighbor's property to set it up, AND had to be super careful to not damage the neighbor's trees or landscaping. They did an AMAZING job. Their crew was very prompt, professional, and hard working. The results are beautiful. We had a tricky neighbor situation where the crew had to access the side of the building using the neighbor's roof (with permission, of course). The neighbor claimed that the painting crew had caused some damage to their roof, but Mark handled it with so much grace and patience (and a series of pre-work photos that clearly showed that they left the neighbor's roof exactly as they found it). Crisis averted. I would highly recommend Sinclair painting, and will definitely use them again for any of our own painting needs.

Sinclair's bid was the most competitive of three received. The written scope in the contract was clearly defined, with a couple minor language adjustments readily accommodated. The painting crew was adequately staffed, punctual and did a very thorough prep job. The foreman, in particular, was proactive. The painting was completed within the time frame quoted, despite several days of inclement weather. The only negative was the subcontracted scaffolding was left in place for 3 weeks after completion; extended poor weather was the probably cause.
