Phil Pledger Painting

I recently had my house painted after 16 years. I was somewhat disappointed based on a couple of bids for my project especially the need to pay a large portion before starting. Mr. Pledger gave me a fair quote for the work that needed to be done without requiring payment until the project was completed to my satisfaction. I decided to accept this proposal. I was delighted with the outcome. Very professional and detailed and they completed all aspects of the proposal. I highly recommend this painting company .

This co. signed a contract with my condo association to replace woodwork on the outside of our buildings and paint and pressure wash prior to painting. When I called the city to ask if they applied for permits, I found out they not only had NO permits, but Pledgers did not have the license as a CONTRACTOR to do the work!!! Turns out they were fined 6K by the city for this, Phil Pledger told me this himself. They had to get a REAL CONTRACTOR CO., THAT IS LICENSED (Shaw Contracting) FOR THIS TYPE OF WORK, TO OVERSEE THEIR WORK so they can continue. Now this company refuses to pressure wash my particular condo, prior to painting because they are angry that I called the City of Jacksonille's building Dept. I do not trust that they will fix the siding on my unit, or paint it correctly, since they are singling me out, as a senior Citizen, and victimizing me by not pressure washing prior to painting as my neighbors units were.
