The office staff and the painters were all very professional and kind. They did a beautiful job painting the exterior of our home. Would recommend them without reservation!

No I would not recommend! The workmanship is 5 star. Firstly, I contacted NP after months of following their work and reading the mostly positive reviews about the cabinet painting process and final product. I reached out by scheduling an appointment for Tues.March 8th. I was contacted by Cassie on Feb. 16th the same day I requested my appt.expressing that I may not get an opening for the project due to the cabinet work filling up in March. She asked me to send pictures to see the scope of the work. I texted her that same day and she sent me a quote to paint kitchen, butlers pantry and laundry room cabinets. The cost for the work was $7800. I told her that I would discuss it with my husband. She then told me that they had an "unexpected cancellation" for Monday Feb. 21st. and they were wiling to offer a 20% discount for the project if we signed up immediately. Bringing the cost down to $6080. This was not what we were prepared to do on such a short notice. However, we were enticed by saving 20% discount on the project. So we agreed and gave them a $2000 deposit. Giving us 4 days to remove everything from all of the cabinets and wash them as well. After sending the deposit receipt NP sent a "how to prepare for your cabinets to be painted" and a "Welcome to the NP Family" email. The email detailed what NP expected to be completed by the customer prior to their arrival. Since this was a whirlwind, we spent the entire weekend preparing the areas involved. Cassie reached out to me by text asking if I had any questions. I verified the time of arrival between 8-9am every morning. I also asked about their daily departure of 7 pm. I was told by Karen the manager, that the email was incorrect and that the crew would actually be arriving every morning at 7 am. This was very disruptive as we would need time to get ready each morning. We had moved everything into every other room of our home and had a small area in our family room so that we could heat up meals and make coffee. Then I received a text on Sat. from Cassie saying that due to the snow that we had on Fri. that the crew was unable to complete the previous job and it may delay our Mon. start date. Cassie assured me that she would let me know as soon as she knew for sure. I waited Sat. & Sun. No updates.I texted Cassie asking for an update. Hours later I received a text from Karen stating our job will be delayed until Tues. We were understanding and Karen then said that would now have the crew start between 8-9 because of the delay. On Tues. at 8:31 the crew arrived. They sat in the van until 8:50. This became the norm. The crew would arrive each morning sitting in their van for 20-30 min before coming into the house to commence the work. The crew left at different times each day depending on the work for the day. On Thurs. one crew member told me that due to the paint not being dry that they wouldn't be back until Sat. delaying the completion even longer.

I highly don’t recommend this company, They gave us an estimate in last May, signed a contract, we paid deposit that the project will be done on fall, they pushed the project to the week of Christmas, after one day of starting the manger called asking for extra 50% of the total price of the project, that was a real rip off and scam, and when we didn’t want to overpay they walked away leaving the walls unfinished with remains of wallpaper backing. This is not what professional contractor do,

Painters were on time and professional. I have used North Pointe a number of times and was always completely satisfied.

I hired this company to paint the majority of my interior about a month ago. I was extremely pleased with their work. The painters were friendly and clean. I had several different quotes and I felt confident in the sales rep and her pricing. I'm glad I went with them and I will be using them again on my basement next year.
