Mark Serafin Painting

Hello, I am Mark the Painter! I grew up in Belen, which is in South Central New Mexico. My dad had a decent job at General Electric. In his spare time, he picked up small interior and exterior paint jobs to earn extra money. I picked up a paint brush for the first time at the young age of 7 and helped him. He would roll on the paint, while I would use a paint brush and cut in the walls. I was exposed to the trade and being an entrepreneur at a very young age, I knew this was what I wanted to do when I grew up. Although I had a decent job that provided opportunity for growth, I liked being able to create more. At the age of 32, I decided to quit my corporate job and go into business for myself full time. I opened up my painting business in 2006, in 2011 I became a LLC, and in 2014 I became licensed, bonded, and insured. Painting is in my blood and is truly my passion. I am very fortunate to do what I love – to create, to paint! With the support of my beautiful wife, Monnet, I am living the dream every day. God created me to paint, create, and design. I am a mixed media artist; I use acrylic paint, 3D acrylic paint, glitter, glitter paint, and spray-paint. I apply my paint to white or black canvas. In my most famous pieces, I use a blended technique I developed; however, I have several pieces of Pointillism, skyline, landscape, and contemporary canvased art. To-date, there are over 350 pieces in my collection. Call me for a private showing. I am very detail oriented and passionate, and treat each job like I am painting my own home. I am a perfectionist and professional. I use only the best “green” paints, which are low in VOC, and use the best material. I go the extra mile when I prep, because that is key to the final output. Oftentimes, when my wife and I travel or go to businesses and residents, I am pointing out painting imperfections to her. My inspiration comes from God, meeting people, the land (Mother Earth), culture, and travel. I just want to create and color the world one fabulous color at a time.
