Josh and his team did a great job - very happy with the quality of the exterior painting of my house. They also repaired some dry rot and were very good about cleaning up and not damaging my landscaping. I would hire again.

We are very pleased with the job Josh's company did painting our metal roof. Josh ran into multiple issues with the weather(heat and rain), but kept us updated at every step. Growing up, my father was a house painter, so I know good workmanship when I see it and Josh should be very proud of his. Looking forward to working with him again.

I had the pleasure of hiring Josh and his crew to prep and paint the basement walls, beams, and ceiling of our 20,000 sq. foot basement in our historic warehouse in SE Portland. It was a big job, and the Marcella and Sons team was very professional and the quality of work was above our expectation. We were so happy with how the basement turned out that we decided to hire them back to paint several rooms (offices and bathrooms) on the ground level. Communication and scheduling was smooth and the price was well worth it. I would certainly hire them again for future jobs.

Josh Marcella is a true professional who takes pride in doing an exceptional job. He: kept in touch with us throughout the project, gave a fair and timely bid with multiple options, oversaw his crew, and didn't take any shortcuts. In fact, we are now having his company set to paint some interior rooms. The exterior of our house had some mildew, dry rot, a botched up previous job via a different painter who used latex over an oil-based set of 3 doors and who didn't sand down a metal door, and we had caulking that had gone away. The team carefully washed the house, caulked where needed, took extra time on our botched doors, replaced dry rot with new lumber and cleared heavy mildew on our pergola before staining it. Their job was neat and we did not find any areas that were less than perfect. I strongly recommend Marcella and Sons!
