I called Doug when another painter delayed a project 3 times. It was the best thing that could have happened. He happened to have the next 2 days available by fluke. He came an hour or two after contacting him to quote, and provided a written quote shortly after. He and Wayne arrived the next morning right on time. They were professional, courteous, and thorough, taking time to cover the furniture, sand rough spots, paint the way you would expect professionals to do, and at the end of the day, left equipment and tools very tidy. At the end of the second day they were sweeping and mopping on the way out the door. The walls and ceiling looked better than I thought, and as I told them, they have now set the bar very high for my expectations of a paint job. Great experience, so glad I called them, I would call Keene Painting again in a heartbeat.

Super happy with Doug’s work. He had to work around multiple trades which wasn’t easy considering all the popcorn ceiling that had to be removed. No dust generated whatsoever during the removal process as he used pole mount grinders attached to industrial vacuums. The ceilings are smooth and perfect as he promised. They sanded, plastered multiple times to get the ceiling smooth then applied primer and two coats of Sherwin Williams paint. I recommend Doug for your popcorn ceiling removal and painting needs. Thanks Doug for a job well done.

We hired Doug to paint our living room, dining room, kitchen, hall and upstairs loft. He completed the job in a timely manner and we were very pleased with the results. He was very personable and shared some of his painting tips with me. I would definitely hire him again.

We were referred to Doug by my wife's friend and it didn't disappoint. Doug is a great guy, easy going, honest, courteous and care about what he does. We had our interior walls painted and he was fast see, efficient, while still maintaining quality and made sure he didn't leave any mess. he was also kind enough to help us out with other small projects and did an excellent job too fixing our washroom, bathroom, ceiling, leaks. Excellent contractor!! Can’t say enough about Doug’s excellent work! Has renovated all of my homes three in total, each move Doug was the first person to call! Exceptional care great attention to detail, work was done on time and was extremely thoughtful in the process!! Left my home beautiful clean and was very courteous. Hard to find workmanship at this level, definitely will book for future projects! Will refer him anytime !!
