Nikolai and his Coast City Painters team painted the exterior of my house, first doing an assessment of possible repairs, outlining options and thoroughly estimated costs. Their work was careful and the team respectful of my home, my garden and my time. As important was Nikolai's help in determining colours and paint styles. He listened carefully and gave me several options. His experience made a big difference in the outcome. The next job was an interior one and all work was completed beautifully.

Started on time, finished on time and on budget. There were no surprises. Quality work, superior paint products with high attention to little details. My wife and I felt that it was money well invested in our home.

Coast City Painters were hired to paint a large area of our loft apartment. Nikolai visited our home and provided an estimate. He was helpful in advising us on preparation and product. This was a challenging space in that the walls were 20 ft. high and were cinder block. He and his crew were prompt, personable, polite, and treated our home with respect. We were impressed both with their professional approach and with the result. We would highly recommend them to others.

We had Nikolai and his crew paint the exterior of our home. From the initial quote to the end of the project Nikolai kept us informed on the progress. Unfortunately our job went over budget. Although I was a bit disappointed, the final product was well worth it. They were quick and tidy - always cleaning up every day. I would definitely recommend Coast City Painters!

Coast City Painters were hired to paint the back side of this two story house, including the dormers. They advised on the stain to be used on the unpainted shingles and painted the windows, soffits and facia boards. Because of the water ban this summer, they had to sand everything, that increased the original estimate. They had to remove countless nails that had penetrated the soffit. The job started at the agreed time and the crew was on time every day and worked very efficiently. Every night the yard was cleaned up so that the backyard could still be enjoyed on those warm summer nights. They used appropriate safety equipment, (harnesses and masks) when needed. The crew was very respectful and friendly. We will recommend and hire this company again. Everybody was very happy with the result.

We have hired Nikolai for four projects over as many years. Both indoor and outdoor work. The work has always been done well with attention to detail. I have always been very happy with the result. Workmanship aside, Nikolai is very personable and professional. As we have toddlers, the latest projects have been a lot more 'hands off' than usual. Nikolai has gone above and beyond to make things as smooth and easy for me. It is this combination that makes him an easy choice for rehire.

The principal of this company, Nikolai, is impressively knowledgable about paint and painting contracts and is a pleasure to deal with. He provides quick quotes, accurate estimates and he and/or his painters start and finish a job on schedule . Nikolai is also a perfectionist painter himself and hires the best people. The results have been excellent and long-lasting. We also discovered Nikolai stands behind his work - on one occasion, there was a problem with the application of a product, through no fault of his. Nikolai did not question the need to have the work redone and immediately arranged this, without charge. We find that Nikolai and his company have complete integrity, high standards and real professionalism. He is our "go to" painter and we highly recommend him.

Nikolai & CCP painted the interior of my townhouse. 3 painters worked on this job and maintained a consistent quality. I was very pleased with the attention to detail of the painting and the efficient manner of the job done. City Painters are a no-fuss company but one which puts quality of job at the top of their list.

Coast City Painters completely repainted the outside of my 3 story wooden home. They did a beautiful job. They finished the work on time and accomplished it in a respectful and organized manner. CC Painters took on a huge job with our project: a 100 year old house that was being renovated inside and out. On the outside, layers of stucco had to be removed and the original wood siding brought back to life. There were lots of awkward angles and dangerous heights but the task was executed with aplomb and on schedule. Inside the house I got to see them working close up and they demonstrated an unwillingness to accept anything other than a first rate job. Two years on and the work still looks impressive.

Coast City Painters was quick to respond and flexible with respect to our timeline. They did a good job for a very reasonable price. I would recommend them to someone who has a small budget and needs to get the job done fast.

Nikolai and his crew from Coast City Painters did a great job on my place. I had two bedrooms and bathroom to get done. They were in and out in two full days and the work was great. Complicated mold on the ceilings and old peeling paint ceiling disappeared. I recommend their services. Thanks guys!
