LUCAS Y HERNÁNDEZ - GIL nace en 2007 de la mano de los arquitectos Cristina Domínguez Lucas y Fernando Hernández-Gil. En el estudio trabajamos en proyectos de arquitectura, interiorismo y diseño gráfico. Buscamos un punto de vista diferente, con una mezcla de curiosidad, intuición y oficio. Nos identificamos con el trabajo impregnado de juego, del "Artesano" que define Richard Sennett. Tratamos de hacer espacios claros con atmósferas luminosas y cálidas. Un ambiente equilibrado pero vivo y fresco a la vez. Huimos de los diseños cerrados y excesivos. Nos gusta rodearnos de las posibilidades que ofrece cada situación, para llegar a la solución más directa y natural. Nuestra intención es hacer un marco, un tablero de juego que el usuario pueda apropiarse. El tiempo completa. Jugamos con la expresividad del material, valoramos las texturas derivadas de la construcción y la impronta de la mano. Nuestro objetivo es descubrir una historia en cada proyecto donde todos los elementos importan. ································································································································································································································ LUCAS Y HERNÁNDEZ – GIL was conceived in 2007 by two architects, Cristina Domínguez Lucas and Fernando Hernández-Gil. We work in architectural, interior design and graphic design projects. A different point of view with a mixture of curiosity, intuition and trade is the aim of our daily job. We identify ourselves with a work imbued with play, with the craftsman defined by Richard Sennet. Our intention is to create clear spaces with luminous and warm atmospheres. A balanced environment, lively and fresh at the same time is sought. We avoid closed and excessive design and like to be surrounded by the possibilities of each situation, which ensure that the most direct and natural solution is reached. Our purpose is to create a frame, a game board that users can appropriate for himshelf. Time completes. We play with the material expressiveness and appreciate the textures resulting from the construction and the stamp of the hand. Our aim is to uncover a story in each project, where everything is important.
