We are a family owned and operated business, founded by David Reid. In 2019 Action Flooring will be celebrating 34 years in business. Presently, Action’s team consists of over ninety of the most talented and dedicated individuals in their profession; many of which have been with the company for over a decade. Our intention is to build lasting relationship built on excellent customer service and quality. We are passionate about providing services and products that are of value and quality while establishing a relationship with each and every client to serve them in the best way possible. With our qualified and experienced team, we are more than capable and eager to manage, meet, and exceed our client's expectations. We are very excited to be operating out of two brand new showrooms. Our Edmonton location has relocated into a brand new 40,000sqft location to better serve our clients with endless selections and space to bring their vision to life. Recently, we have opened up a second location in Red Deer to further serve the central and southern Alberta areas. BUYER BEWARE - ABYSMAL SERVICE! We moved into a new home over 2 years ago and we have received nothing but excuses and empty promises from this company. A simple nosing repair as a result of their flooring techs error which everyone agrees is a “small” job. So small they don’t care about it??? If you must buy your flooring from them then have someone else do they install and save the aggravation.

We do not recommend Action Flooring. We ordered and paid in full all costs associated with the materials specified for our 4 projects. After paying for our order for 4 different projects, Action Flooring had custody of all materials. Installers did not show up on the dates scheduled for install. Overage requirements were miscalculated, resulting in short supply of the needed materials, and delays in the installation. For our final project, only a partial quantity of tile remained, causing a significant delay, approx. 6 months, in our last project. Action Flooring refuses to accept responsibility for their role in measurement, the calculated requirements for tile, scheduling disruptions, and ultimately, safe custody of our materials, resulting in a shortage of tile on the last project. When trying to negotiate a resolution, we continued to hear "it's not our fault".

My overall shopping experience at Action Flooring really was wonderful from start to finish. With that said many very special thank you’s to both Paul and Dariusz for making it all a great experience And not to be forgotten, thanks also to those working on the day to day administrative tasks that provide the backup and support to make sure all goes well from beginning to end. Paul is a front line gem, an asset to the company. I can’t speak highly enough of him. He has a terrific experiential background, a great deal of knowledge about his products, super suggestions when asked. Paul is very organized , articulate , mild mannered, an extremely good listener and a great professional support throughout the process of buying a new carpet and Lino. Each step in the overall process of purchasing new flooring was orchestrated so beautifully that nary a worry on my part. The overall experience Wonderful. Paul is “an asset to the company “ and hopefully management recognizes this fact also. Please pass on my comments to him. Dariusz was professional, courteous, friendly, flexible , and an all round good man and hard working sub contractor/ installer. I trusted him in my home and immediately knew without reservation that I could leave it to him to get the job well done. And that was absolutely what he did. A job Well Done! Dariusz is another asset to the company and to be valued as a hard worker, reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable. His organizational and time management skills were excellent. Please make sure he hears how I felt about his work and the attributes he brought to the job. Thank you once again. I am very happy that I chose Action Flooring for my carpet and Lino needs.

If there are ever any warranty issues, they stand behind their products, and are prompt to rectify any situation that may arise. She is meticulous with details and she listens to what you want and will do everything she can to make it happen. Her bubbly personality and eagerness to help makes a renovation or new build a better experience. This last project had a two week timeline and Andreia and Action Flooring made it happen. I got connected with Andreia the first day I checked out Action Flooring on the advice of friends who had attended a recent Home Show in Edmonton. I was planning a home renovation and knew I would need some good advice to ensure the renovation was successful. Andreia had arranged a home visit and I explained the details of my renovation. Through our subsequent interactions, she was extremely helpful assisting me with vendors and tradesmen who could complete some of the renovations, as I was acting as my own general contractor. I had already arranged for some of the work to be completed by tradespeople I had sourced on my own (painter, electrician), but she was able to get quotes from reliable vendors for the work that I had not already arranged (countertops, kitchen island) and offer advice on sources for items such as sinks, toilets, faucets. She offered great advice and options for the various selections (paint, flooring, color selections) and has a good product knowledge that helped keep my budget balanced and still give me the finished look and practicality of the finished renovation I was striving for. I knew I was going to need some help to accomplish all the changes I planned for my home renovation, and I feel quite fortunate to have been connected with Andreia and Action Flooring. The overall experience went very well and what I was hoping to have as a finished product was exactly that. My house looks amazing. I would definitely work with and recommend Andreia to anyone who is contemplating some home renovations.

Wow! - All I can Say is wow...Very Professional and amazing. I had Hardwood, Laminate and Tile installed and truly the work was Quick and so nicely installed I told the installer that I don;t think I need baseboards! - Very Highly Recommended! The General Contractor even installed our Kitchen Cabinets and forgot sub-flooring for the Installers, they did not gripe...They just worked on and did incredible work, very meticulous and did a nice clean-up after.

I used Action Flooring in a renovation in 2013. They were awesome. They found the product that I was looking for and the installation was excellent. So, when I decided to renovate the basement, I did not hesitate to call them. Again, both the product and installation were exemplary. I had new vinyl flooring installed in my condo living room. Action flooring made sure I had all the required documentation to meet the condo board requirements for noise dampening. The sales and installation were hassle free and I got the install date I needed.
