Cris Willig, a window fashion specialist who also offers a full range of interior design services, has been serving homeowners in the Twin Cities and around the country for more than 15 years. Cris, whose window treatments hang in the Minnesota state capitol building, is one of the metropolitan area’s leading providers of shades, blinds, shutters and drapery hardware. She is the areas only professional who has made window treatments in her home studio, and who has designed, fabricated and installed her own designs. She has helped numerous homeowners substantially reduce their utility bills by installing more energy-saving window coverings. She offers “Window Onceover” consultation sessions, in which she advises homeowners on the most energy-efficient options for their windows. Cris, whose interior design services range from space planning to kitchen remodels, has had several articles on design published. In addition, her work has been featured in area newspapers, and she was one of only a few females who was included in a nationally-published home improvement book. Her company, Interior Options, includes a team of some of the area’s foremost installers, furniture and carpet suppliers and others. Cris is a green design professional who has provided window treatments and pillows for an online outlet of environmentally-friendly design products. She will soon offer “green” alternative fabrics, pillow inserts and cushions.
