We are so proud of our newly remodeled home and we have Eric Gensheimer and the Tameric team to thank. We chose Eric to oversee the remodel of our Lake House after hearing excellent reviews from friends and can gratefully report, he and his team lived up to the accolades they have been collecting. We were in a unique position; taking our Montgomery County home to the studs for a major remodel at the same time we were building a new home inside the loop of Houston . It could have been frustrating and stressful but, choosing Tameric Builders made the country project exciting and rewarding with minimal stress. The project came with challenges; foundation issues, removing a 2nd floor and raising the downstairs ceiling height, plumbing that didn't meet current code to name a few. Eric took every obstacle as a challenge to overcome. We came in close to budget (I added items to the project) and delays were minimized, allowing us to enjoy our new home by Christmas. I wanted to be involved with the design of our new space and Eric respected this decision. He often put in extra time and pulled resources, allowing my vision to take life. For example, I showed up with a trailer full of 100 year old barn wood. I'd envisioned it being made into a huge barn door, leading into the Master Suite and being used to wrap a support beam in our kitchen; adding a warm vintage touch to the clean, new space. Eric listened to my idea and quickly supported my desire -- the result is stunning, as is the rest of the home. Family, friends and neighbors are incredibly complimentary of our new space and it's a place everyone wants to gather. I believe the biggest compliment we can give our builder is, I wouldn't change a thing. I had a thoroughly satisfying experience using the services of Tameric Builders for a project to build out the interior of my barndominium. Throughout the project I was constantly impressed with Eric's care and attention to detail. He provided many valuable ideas and recommendations and was as much an architect/consultant as he was a General Contractor. I especially appreciated the time and care he took to discuss construction details with me and explain alternatives on how various items could be handled. He had an outstanding portfolio of suppliers to send me to to make the selections for doors, hardware, paint, tile, moulding and so on. I must mention that it was Eric who pointed me to the Houzz web site where I found many good ideas and also purchased several items for the project. Eric spent a lot of time on the job site making sure the various subs received clear and complete instructions on completing the work the way Eric & I had discussed. He also provided frequent onsite follow-ups to make sure the work was proceeding smoothly and as planned. Overall I came to feel at ease that the project was being managed carefully, things would be done right, and the result would be exactly as Eric and I had planned it. Tamericgroup remodeled our Kitchen and Master Bathroom. They were professional and excellent to work with. They were always attentive to our needs and offered great suggestions. We would definitely work with them again on any other remodel project we might have in the future.
