Julia is fantastic to work with and photographing her interiors a joy because of her passion and attention to detail. We recently photographed a bedroom she designed in Lymm, Cheshire and the use of colour and textures in the room made it such an inviting space and felt both comforting and tranquil.

Had "interviewed" 2 interior designers and then I met Julia; I knew instantly that we would be able to work together and more importantly, my husband understood her too! Whilst I had some ideas, Julia was able to make me focus, through discussions, on exactly what I was looking for and the end result, is way way beyond what I could have achieved myself. We now love just sitting in the room and taking it all in! Well done Julia, for all your patience, wonderful ideas, simply nothing was too much trouble. Julia at The House Ministry and I had a long distance relationship, resulting in a fabulous outcome for me and my sitting room. I had started a project, had the bare bones in place but had come to a stop. Julia came to my rescue despite being 160 miles away. By the power of email, telephone, post and the internet she collected the information that she required from me to take the project forward. She provided me with ideas, inspiration, suggestions and helped me come to decisions when I was struggling. She organised suppliers, deliveries and was mindful of my budget, making sure that I got value for money and spent wisely. I now have a beautiful sitting room, elegant, yet homely with individual touches that would make it stand out from the crowd. The House Ministry recently completed an interior design project for our master bedroom. They listened carefully to our requirements and came up with some brilliant ideas - ones we would never have thought of ourselves e.g. the ceiling colour, the golden dresser, the chaise longue. Julia was very professional, completing the project on time and to the agreed budget. She was a pleasure to work with - nothing was too much trouble and she was extremely flexible. We are really pleased with the outcome of the project and would highly recommend Julia and the House Ministry to anyone seeking to improve their home.

I would whole heartedly recommend Julia and The House Ministry to anyone thinking about having any interior design work. Julia has the ability to understand the needs of her clients. In this case it was my daughter. We had a budget and a tight time-scale to complete the project of designing her attic room. The room had a number of constraints in terms of space and design, Julia was able to talk it through with my daughter and ,myself, identifying what she required from her room in terms of usable apace, storage and colour scheme. Julia talked us through the stages of the design project, recommend and sourced suppliers for furniture, produce colour schemes that ensured we could make an informed decision. My daughter now has room that is completely designed around her needs and within budget. I would use Julia again as her skill at understanding her clients needs, working to a budget and time-scales.

Julia stepped in to help me at the eleventh hour. I was renovating a small 'buy to let' town house in Cheltenham, when I had an accident, and was unable to complete the job myself. I had just got to the soft furnishing stage. The curtains i had purchased previously needed hanging and dressing. There were a number of issues with the curtains and Julia turned disaster into a success story for me by re-aligning the interlining and hems. The resulting job was fantastic. Julia also adapted a roman blind to comply with recent child proof legislation, which I was unaware of. She sourced the safety labels to attch to the blind and advised where to purchase supplies for the future. She also gave me advice about the lighting, where to purchase the right shades and what would work well. Julia's support has meant that I am now in a position to rent the house out and to be able to capitalize on the asset as quickly as possible. I would recommend Julia to anyone who needs help and advice with interior design projects. I found her to be very empathetic and sensitive to my needs. She has a great feel for what is right for a property and carefully explains the options. She picked up a job that very few people would be willing to take on. She understood the need for speed and went out of her way to accommodate me, and the work, within a week of our first contact. I feel that I have gained a 'finished' house and a friend. I like to work with really professional people and Julia's standards are of the highest order. Her costs were extremely reasonable and she delivered a great result in a very timely fashion.
