We hired The Deck Store to install eze breeze vinyl windows on our porch. We like to support small, family owned businesses and understood this company was just that. I have to say, however, that our experience was not what I would have expected from a local small business. The communication was very poor. We rarely received a prompt reply from our calls and sometimes no response at all. Our windows were installed upside down which did very little to give us confidence in the knowledge of their employees although the problem was rectified. Appointments were postponed and even ignored. I realize that some of the follow up work took place during the pandemic but a simple phone call explaining any delays would have been appreciated.

We're sorry you think our service only deserves a 3-star rating. Although our installer did install the windows improperly initially, which is inexcusable, this poor review was a surprise to us. We communicated almost exclusively with Mr. Levin, and we are completely unaware of you feeling like there were missed appointments or poor communication of any sort. Mr. Levin seemed quite happy with our service and communication when dealing with our on-site manager before, during, and after installation was complete. We appreciate your business, and we are grateful for the feedback. We will strive to improve our service going forward.

The combination of showroom, wide selection of products, and customer service make this business a must for anyone building or remodeling a deck. Some systems are complicated enough that going through a box store or ordering on-line would either require one to spend dozens of hours educating one self or would result in waste of time and money. The Deck Store is excellent.

Great repair on support post for screened porch. One of the support beams for our porch had begun to rot and cause the porch to start to become unlevel. The Deck Store took out the old support beam and did the necessary changes to make the porch level again. They took great care in the job to avoid any future water damage to the new wood support.

The Deck Store team did an outstanding job installing Eze-Breeze windows to replace conventional screened windows. I now have a 3.5 season room! Tom Booker was very responsive. I received a fair price. Raven and the field team was highly talented and did a great job with the installation.

Love the product but why after spending $6,000 will they not parcel out CONCEALoc hidden fasteners when I only needed 25 to finish my 16 x 20 on 12 inch centers? I have to pay another $25 for a box of 175????

Timbertech sells their ConceaLoc hidden fasteners in 100 square foot boxes (175ct). You got exactly what you paid for. I'm sorry that they don't offer smaller quantities. We sell every product that Timbertech makes at very competitive prices, and we always try to get our customers what they need at the lowest possible prices. Thank you for your business. I don't think a 3 star review is fair given the level of service you received. I feel like we're being punished because Timbertech doesn't offer small quantity fasteners.

I had a rough idea of the size deck and the support structure I needed. The Deck Store reviewed my plan and offered advice for improving and advancing my plan, since I was to build it myself. They estimated the structure treated lumber, AZEK decking, railings, and lattice work to complete my job. They even estimated the screws and fasteners I would need. Five AZEK deck boards had a factory dimple that were exchanged and my excess lattice material was return for credit. The quality of material and advice made the finished job something of high quality and has been praised by my neighbors. Being my first deck, it was comforting to work with people knowledgeable about the construction - not just the material.
