I have used Lloyd's two times now and could not be more satisfied. The most recent project was just completed on July 27. I met with Ben Lloyd with an idea (in my head only) to construct an awning/gazebo over my outdoor grilling area. Somehow Ben was able to create exactly what I had envisioned without so much as a drawing to go by. Not only did Ben do a great job of designing the project, his workers did an excellent job of installing it. Even asking me when they were done if I was satisfied with their cleanup of the area. I absolutely love using local, family owned businesses whenever I can and Lloyd's is top notch.

Ben has a great attitude and was easy to work with during fabric selection to achieve the look we wanted. We enjoy the outdoor space created by our new awning. Thanks Ben!

In good faith we felt Lloyds of Millville, as a long established 85year old family business, was more than capable of providing us the awning we were looking for. We made a huge judgement error. When they came to install our awning the installers discovered the initial measurements were taken incorrectly, therefore the Frame was made wrong. The installation supervisor re-measured the area and assured me the problem would be fixed and the Frame would be ‘perfect’ when they return to install it the second time. Understanding mistakes happen, we fully believed that would be the case…the second install went just as bad. A week later they returned. The second installation attempt exposed new problems with the Frame and now the canopy cover, so many in fact, their supervisor said he had never seen so many problems with the workmanship in all the years he worked for Lloyds of Millville. We had had enough. We now have holes in our stucco and wood areas, created by the screws used to secure the frame to our home and still.... after numerous request, no refund of our deposit. Any company can make promises and take your money. A Good Company is judged by how they handle problems…Lloyds of Millville is not a good company. Ben...On June 21st., the first communication I had from your company after the 2nd install attempt wasn't a phone call but a email advising me that I was losing my deposit...this is what was said, "Obviously we are both losing a considerable amount financially as well. We would like nothing more then to do whatever needed to satisfy you and regret you have decided cancel your contract forfeiting your deposit. We are still offering to make any adjustments of course and await your final response. Linda and Ben Lloyd" On June 28th., after responding to a request from, I believe your wife Linda, to formally request a refund so that it may be reviewed by your attorney. Two weeks went by without hearing a word or receiving a check. Had this much formality and attempt to NOT refund my deposit been applied to the fabrication process, we would not be going through this and this review would never had been posted. Finally on July 18th., I received my deposit.
