Whether you are in the market for a raised garden or you want to make your backyard a place to entertain or you are looking to buy a one of a kind dining room table Custom Woodworks is all about you and the wood. Every piece is hand crafted and made to order in my wood/cabinet shop located in my backyard here in northern California. Not only is each piece unique and one of a kind it is durable and built to last a lifetime. I also own my own sawmill and the wood I use is hand selected and milled to my likings.

When we bought our home 5 years ago, our deck was almost 25 years old and had never been very well maintained. Dustin rebuilt nearly the entire thing. We couldn't be happier with the results. Dustin does quality work, and his rates are very reasonable. It's so hard to find this combination of honesty and integrity these days. From a homeowner's perspective, the project couldn't have gone any smoother. No hassles whatsoever. He even put in a few extra features we weren't expecting! Dustin is easily our first choice for any future projects we may have. I can confidently recommend him to anyone.

Dustin started with replacing 75' of good neighbor fence during the El Nino rain, and finished it in 2 days using Cedar, mind you daylight savings time gets dark at 5pm. Dustin also installed a redwood deck AND completely remodeled my bathrub, Awesome work! He pays attention to detail and always attentive to what my specifications are and how I want the work done. Dustin never leaves behind a mess, very clean work, cleans entire area from debris, dust, left over wood, scrap pieces, etc. The quality of his work is excellent, his rates are very reasonable, and his experience is unparalleled.

I asked for a large custom garden bed at a reasonable cost. Dustin gave me exactly what I wanted and very quick! It was delivered next day!!! Beautiful, sturdy redwood garden bed! He even suggested options that worked for my gardening needs! Highly recommend!!!

Dustin removed, redesigned and replaced a rotting retaining wall and deck. He designed and installed a deer fence as well. He and his crew were prompt, respectful, cleanly. We chose him from the others who bid the jobs because he worked to meet our needs in a practical, efficient and creative manner, making our completed projects completely adequate yet reasonably developed with our goals and economy in mind. He is obviously a very talented woodworker, capable of much greater creative scale than was required by our projects and is a conscientious and diligent worker. We will hope to work with him in the future. We don't think there is anything he can't do! While not exciting decoratively, the attached photos illustrate the kind of terrain and scope of the work he did for us.

Since I met him, Dustin has been my first choice for furniture, home improvement and anything else crafted from wood! I enjoy that he has a passion for his work and is able to use his skill and creativity to create beautiful products from (my favorite) reclaimed woods. Dustin spends most of his time dedicated to his craft and it shows through his work. I would recommend him to anyone who enjoys the beauty of natural, re-purposed redwoods, oaks, maples... well, just about everything!
