We recently purchased a 14-unit apartment building with a really neglected courtyard - a complete gut job. After initially meeting with Julia, I knew she was the landscape designer I was looking for. She is very warm, talented, and a great listener. Julia designed the most amazing welcoming courtyard with a beautiful zen feel. She really nailed the look I was going for. I look forward to working with her on other projects!

Working with Julia was truly a pleasure. I dreamed of a beautiful backyard for a long time but didn't know how to start. Julia took the time to really listen to what I wanted to incorporate, the plants I liked, the feeling I wanted to have when I walked out into the backyard. I was amazed when I saw the first draft of the design and Julia was spot on, and my dream was coming true. She definitely put soul in to my spaces. Very personable and easy to work and connect with. A-MAY-ZING!!! I am so grateful to have found Julia. I am a relationship person and Julia is who I will call for here on out. I was stressed out about landscaping my new home. I am a DIY person and trying to figure out what plant works in this space and every little detail, UGH!!, I quickly realized this was not my area of expertise nor do I have the time to become a weekend gardener. I went onto HOUZZ and found Julia. Very prompt response to my messages on HOUZZ as well as emails. She come out and took less than 20 minutes to have a flood of ideas regarding my landscaping. Julia Parker is such an amazing landscape designer. She is super personable, approachable and easy to work with. She transformed the rundown space in front of our beach cottage into a colorful and lively garden with drought-resistant plants that are easy to maintain! I also hired her on the side to help redesign my indoor living space, which I LOVED!! I received tons of compliments from friends as well. She really paid close attention to what I wanted for both our garden and indoor space, had me pick pictures of what I liked and then designed and executed beautifully. I would highly recommend Julia Parker of Soulful Spaces. She designed a beautiful front yard for us that we just love and use every day. Our main goal was to transform our rocky and spiky front yard into a child friendly but still water wise space that our whole family could enjoy. I really appreciated all the time she took talking with us about our goals for the space. After this discussion, she suggested that the inspiration for the design be "curiosity" based on her understanding of our son's personality and our desire to give him a space to explore. This was a perfect fit! Julia has a cool computer program that showed us an 3-D rendering of her design. This was especially helpful for me cause I have difficulty visualizing ideas and made us feel really comfortable committing to the design. Julia was also really patient with us when we changed our minds about a few design elements. She referred us to a wonderful landscaper who executed her lovely design. Overall, we couldn't be happier with both the experience of working with Julia and the final product.

Wanted to remodel my patio to feel like an extension of my home. Julia created a beautiful living space that flows seamlessly. When you walk in my front door your eye is immediately drawn to the outside, which meshes perfectly with my mid century home. Julia is a delight to work with and a talented, creative designer. Highly recommend.

Julia was fantastic to work with. We hired her to help us a design an outdoor living area in August/September. She came over and we shared what we had envisioned, what we wanted included, discussed how we use the space and intend on using the space, etc. She came back with a beautiful 3D rendering that gave us everything we asked for in a design and it was a lay out we hadn't thought of before but really was a better flow and use of the space. My husband is quite handy and we wanted to do and contract the work out ourselves so she provided us the to scale plans, from the size of the furniture, down to the size of the pot and what type of plants to put in them (along with suggestions of where to buy things). Being able to do the build out on our timeline has been great, we control what we do and how much we spend and when we spend it. We NEEDED her to bring our vision to life and give us direction and that is exactly what she did. We would probably still be talking about what we should do, instead we are about 75% from it being complete and we could not be more happy or more proud of the space.
