SG Geneva (Scentimental Gardens)

I met with Debra for a 3 hour consultation. We scheduled a meeting for 1PM, she arrived at 2PM… so miscommunication somewhere – I had to leave my house for another apt at 430, so I cut our meeting short by 30 minutes, We walked my gardens – discussed several changes that I was interested in making. Surprisingly she steered me from several major projects I was envisioning (brick patio and pergola and making my existing firepit more usable) and suggested that I keep it simple. We walked thru my house discussed flooring project I was planning. I asked for suggestions on color, furniture arrangement and new decorating ideas…. The only suggestion she offered was to put vines on my fireplace shelves for a splash of color. We then spent some time looking at my ideabooks on pinterest and houzz to give her an idea of my decorating tastes and what I liked. She was going to get back to me with more ideas and pictures so I could start planning the yard project and I never heard from her again. ……. So for $300 I got a recommendation to chop down a bush, a suggestion for vines in the house and a promise that she would contact me with further info, its been 5 weeks and still waiting......

Scentimental Gardens has been doing landscape design and maintenance for us for over 15 years. Our first project with Debra and Scentimental Gardens was at our previous home. It was a combination landscape/ hardscape project which transformed our corner lot into a garden oasis. We fell in love with her wonderful ability to design and transform space and used her at our next home where she has transformed both the front and the back yard. We use their services yearly to mulch, maintain and tweak our yard. We also have had our containers planted by her (outstanding) and have used her services to help in architectural design with renovations on our 1930's home.

We hired Scentimental Gardens to design and install an update to our 30 year old garden and landscape. Their professional team worked with our existing landscape, our ideas and came back to us with a proposal that reflected the best of what we had; and then created a beautiful new landscape. The new gardens have been a huge upgrade to the exterior of our home. Scentimental Gardens used only the best quality garden materials and plants for our job. The crew from Scentimental Gardens was outstanding, making adjustments as needed day of installation. Follow-up to changes and additions was timely and handled in the original budget. Overall, Scentimental Gardens exceeded our expectations and we are now planning to have them back for additional work!

I have contracted with Scentimental Gardens for nearly 10 years to design, plant, mulch and maintain front and back gardens, decorate containers for summer and winter, decorate outdoors for Christmas, and to design and build a new driveway. Work is always done professionally, expertly, and pleasantly. I genuinely look forward to walking the gardens with Debra to discuss plans and changes needed as the gardens evolve over time. I receive compliments from nature enthusiasts as well as those who appreciate aesthetics since Scentimental Gardens excels at creating a unique and beautiful nature habitat that visitors and family can, and do, enjoy. My gardens are my own little slice of heaven.
