Loved working with Tina and her team! We booked a gardening coaching session with her and had a wonderful expereince! She gave us so many great ideas that were beyond our own imagination, and covered alot of our questions. I look froward to working with her again and highly recommend her services!

We worked with Tina at Red Fern Landscape Design last fall to revamp the existing, unorganized garden beds around our house. Red Fern's garden coaching option was just what we needed, since we enjoy gardening ourselves but were lacking in design skills. During the 2 hour home visit, Tina helped us develop a plan for perennials, bulbs, bushes, and a few trees worked into our existing plants to give us that cozy, filled in garden we were looking for. She also gave us tips for caring for our plants throughout the session. After almost a year, it's coming together beautifully.

Tina is SO knowledgeable, so passionate about her work, so FUN and just a total joy to work with! We laughed and learned so much during our gardener coaching session and I think we could have gone on for hours! Highly recommend!

We hired Tina and her team to help us landscape our home prior to a backyard wedding. Like everything else in 2020, our wedding and our gardening project were both delayed, but Tina was professional and openly communicated the process. The project was well worth the wait! We couldn't be happier with our yard, and we had some specific asks, including pollinators, desire to have cut flowers and a color scheme matching our picnic table and porch swing. I can speak to a billing/scope miscommunication between the two of us that Tina was sure to make right, and we were able to openly discuss solutions and come to an agreement we were both happy about. The best part of all in my opinion, was the amount of plant knowledge we gained along the way.

From start to finish, Tina Wilkinson Krug did a FANTASTIC job! She knew how to ask the right questions, listen carefully to our answers, and then formulate a plan that worked perfectly for our family! We are NOT skilled in the plant/landscaping world, but she listened to that and came up with a plan that is not only beautiful, but fits our skill level and maintenance commitment (or lack thereof) interest. She gave us a multi-phase plan, and we're delighted with how the first few phases are turning out! We couldn't have done it without her direction and KILLER design skills!

Our whole experience working with Tina from start to finished product was nothing but positive. Tina was super easy to work, even having remote planning sessions while I was taking work trips abroad. Her flexibility and excitement makes her a true asset to the design industry. The greatest part about partnering with Tina was her ability to incorporate our landscape preferences in a manner that worked for the house, our neighborhood, and the climate (I’m originally from Washington State). Her ability to tie in visual cues from inside our home and bring them to the outside was fantastic. She helped make the yard part of our living space which makes it that much more exciting to come home to host family and friends. Tina’s professional knowledge and skills are top notch, and even after a year later of finishing our project, people still stop at our house and comment on the landscaping.

Wonderful Landscape Designer helped plan our backyard project and it turned out wonderfully! Red Fern was very professional and a wealth of knowledge on design. We wanted a place to entertain and relax with family and friends. The project turned out better then I imagined!

I have a small backyard, but still great size to utilize. I had one old, tall oak tree and one smaller oak tree at my back fence line. The tall, old one fell leaving me with no shade, no privacy, a crushed tool shed, plus remaining plantings I do not like to maintain. I also tried a garden strip along the back fence line and found that did not work well. With basically a blank slate, it was best to come up with a budget and plan that fits with what I want and what works with my property size. I wanted help to maximize creativity and a budget for my yard. Tina did a great job navigating me through the thought process of developing a backyard landscape/budget plan that I can now implement over the next 3-5 years as my budget and time allows. We met and talked several times. She is purposeful on the questions she asks and stays on task. Tina broke down the final design plan into stages with detailed information so I can choose what areas I am ready to tackle and not feel overwhelmed over what to do and where to start. To have it all installed/done and growing now would be the dream. But realistically, I am excited to see how my backyard unfolds over the next few years. Tina, thanks for all your creativity and thought put into helping bring life to my backyard! It will be a great place to relax, gather with family and friends, have a workable garden, more privacy, and easier to maintain overall. It's a relief knowing a designed plan is in place to make it all possible.

Our landscape was a complete blank slate when we first approached Tina. She had this great process of helping us figure out what we were looking for in the overall landscape design plan. She asked us questions not only about what we wanted aesthetically but also questions relating to emotional appeal and practical issues such as upkeep and maintenance. She had wonderful suggestions for when we had no clue what we wanted but was also open to our input and feedback. When we decided we wanted a Japanese theme for our garden, she did her research and came up with a beautiful design plan! Tina also impressed us with her knowledge on plants (including care) and materials. It was truly a pleasure to work with her on our home!
