Prospect Design did a fantastic job with the design and implementation for our backyard, as well as the installation of drainage systems. I definitely would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of landscape design and drainage services.

I hired Prospect Design to create a landscape design plan for drainage, a driveway, retaining wall, etc. I was told that the cost of the design plan would be deducted from whatever we spent on the other projects. First I paid for the plan and then the drainage. When I asked questions about the plan I was told that they are pretty good at doing it on the fly the day of. So on the day of... did I have a landscape architect creating the plan...no his foreman created it. Did the plan work? NO. The drainage can't handle 10 minutes of heavy rain. The drain boxes overflow right next to my foundation....the very problem I was trying to prevent. Chad said he would be back to fix it and HE NEVER CAME BACK. But he definitely rushed me to pay him. Came by my house looking for a check right away "to pay the guys", ...before it rains. I did more research on drainage and it says do not use corrugated pipe underground (he did), it says "don't connect the roof drainage to the ground drainage (he did). Oh yeah, and he charged me more money because of things that he did not calculate in the quote EVEN THOUGH I PAID $400 FOR A PLAN. And he did not deduct the plan from the work completed as promised... he deducted 1/4th of the plan. His quote was the cheapest now I see why. $3k wasted on this business....My yard is flooded AND I just got a new crack in my walls because the foundation is flooded and sinking because the drainage issue is not fixed. TALK TO YOUR LAWYER FIRST AND FIND OUT YOUR RIGHTS IF THE JOB IS NOT COMPLETED PROPERLY BEFORE HIRING. GET A CONTRACT

Chad did an amazing job with design and installation of our backyard oasis. Our backyard was useless, with standing water issues and invasive bamboo. He spent a lot of time with us and several return visits, listening to our desires for the yard and the results are better than anything we could dream up. He wanted to make sure we were 100 percent happy with the outcome so he ended up making last minute changes to an installation. This is where he went above and beyond. He ended up creating for us our favorite living space.

Thoroughly enjoyed working with Chad and his team on our yard project. We had a low lying space in our backyard that was pretty useless after rains. Chad took all of our rambling ideas and loose visions and was able to distill them into a practical plan that greatly enhanced our back yard, not only from an aesthetic standpoint but from a functional one as well. He was very responsive to concerns we had along the way and made corrections at every step. His work quality was exceptional. Cannot recommend him enough.

Chad worked with our design preferences and budget to come up with a new front landscape that we love. He was also flexible throughout the project by allowing us to add / change materials and scope of project to suit our needs. Overall great job!

Prospect design did an amazing job with our backyard. It had become just a mudpit, and while we had some ideas with what we wanted to do, they came back with even better ones, that we implemented. We now use our backyard all of the time, and have enjoyed so much the high quality deck and patio and the look of all of our plants. Prospect worked within our budget and was so fast in putting together a really high quality backyard space.

After talking with a few other landscape companies, my wife and I hired Prospect Design Co. to come up with a landscaping solution to some drainage issues in our back yard. We were impressed with Chad's approach; it had the practicality we needed, but also a design sensitivity and a sense of craft that I wasn’t seeing in the other companies. His solution was creative, smart, and looks great. He worked within our budget and phased the project out. The first phase (now completed) was hardscaping, including a patio area, pathway and drainage system. The crew went beyond what was expected, and Chad was good about keeping us updated on the progress throughout the project. Overall, it was a great job and we’re looking forward to starting the next phase.
