A design build company creating artistic outdoor spaces, which connect people spiritually to their space. O’Neill Landscape Design and Installation was formed to provide a full range of landscape-design-build services. Our practice is evolving from providing design services primarily for the private sector to incorporating large scale life style and mixed use commercial and public projects. We offer the skills of a registered Landscape Architect. We collaborate with a network of dedicated landscape contractors, engineers, surveyors, and sculptors who provide considerable experience, quality, and cost control to each individual project ranging in scale and scope. We provide hands on project and site management and a personal commitment to see a project develop. With Cleveland as our base we continue to offer our services to the local community. We also consult nationally and internationally and through our network provide expert horticultural and environmental knowledge. We worked with Heidi to design the landscape for our new construction custom home. She developed a comprehensive plan for irrigation, lighting and plants. It was a good experience working with Heidi, she is very meticulous. Our yard looks amazing!

Heidi is a knowledgeable and talented designer! Throughout our entire project, from design to installation, she has been attentive to our goals. The project was well documented and Heidi kept us well informed along the way. She was always available, always reachable, always on-site as needed. Heidi’s team of contractors were professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to have on site, dealing with whatever came along during installation. All around it was a 5-star experience!

The design and the plants were interesting, not your usual run of the mill landscaping. The crew that did the installation were fantastic. Highly recommend. 5 stars all around.

We are very happy with Heidi's design for our backyard deck and patio, with the workmanship of her crew. She understood our goals, and offered two distinct designs for meeting them. She was very helpful in the selection of materials, and was reasonably accurate in estimating when the construction would begin, and how long it would take. She was responsive and the crew was easy to deal with when questions arose. And we are delighted with the results.

Heidi is a true professional. We truly wanted to transform our backyard from the soggy wooded area, to an outdoor extension of our house where we could spend many months(even in Cleveland) enjoying our family, friends, and alone time with nature. Heidi nailed it. From completely helping our grading issues and drainage, to creating a beautiful patio with gas firepit and grill island, she has given us a true Cleveland paradise. With Heidi's expert knowledge of plants, shrubs , and trees, she has given us a wooded wonderland with plants we had never seen before that flourish in our shaded backyard. Heidi was very responsive to big operational questions and down to the very detailed questions regarding outlet coverings on our fire pit. We highly recommend Heidi and ONeill landscaping! Heidi designed and installed a pool and outdoor living space in our backyard, including pool and spa, large patio with fireplace area, four-season heated pergola, and outdoor kitchen. The materials and layout are perfect for our home and look like they were always meant to be there. The plant material is wonderful with different plants and trees blooming throughout the spring, summer and fall. She also used the dirt from the pool dig to address drainage issues on the property which has been a huge help! Despite challenges with materials and workers presented during the pandemic, Heidi kept on top of everything and everyone to finish things up in a timely fashion. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and the new beautiful outdoor living space we can enjoy year round!

We engaged Heidi O'Neill Design & Landscaping to plan a Veterans Memorial for our school. From start to finish, Ms. O'Neill is a total professional, with a keen eye for the big picture as well as the details. She provided us great conceptual drawings from which we moved on to the final drawing; from there, she oversaw the construction and landscaping until the project was completed. On time and on-budget. We are pleased with the way it came out, it is receiving rave reviews from visitors and we will engage Heidi in future projects.

Heidi transformed our landscape to totally enhance the beauty of our home. She took everything into consideration regarding sun, shade, water, and grading. The plants/ shrubs she installed are artistic, colorful, hardy and plentiful… and as we look at our home now we are delighted with the results. It has a garden effect everywhere we look. Heidi worked alongside her installers each and every day. She also tutored us on each plant and it’s care. We would highly recommend Heidi O’Neil Landscaping.

I was very happy with Heidi O'Neill. She was completely professional, offered me 4-5 designs to choose from, and then was happy to work with me to fine-tune and add/subtract elements to make it very much aligned with my vision. To her credit, she encouraged me to take some chances a little out of my comfort-zone and I am so glad she did because she was right!! Once the design was finished and approved, her crew created the whole project in very short order. It looked fabulous as soon as it was completed...and is absolutely stunning now a year later. I still use a flip-phone so cannot post a picture but would be happy to show it to anyone who is considering hiring O'Neill Landscape Design.
