Nilufer Danis is an international multi-award-winning landscape architecture and garden design studio based in London, creating modern, beautiful, evocative and prestigious outdoor spaces. Founded by talented Chartered Landscape Architect Nilufer Danis, the studio was created with genuine passion and love for landscapes and gardens that shines through her artistry and visionary designs. Characterised by strong structural elements that give definition and poise, modern, minimalistic layouts with clean lines that juxtapose exciting planting with a sophisticated palette of colours and textures, the studio ensures to design spaces that also have a positive environmental impact and improve on biodiversity. With almost two decades of experience, the studio works with (or work alongside) successful architects, interior designers, developers and property management consultancies such as Roger Stirk Harbour + Partners, Tadao Ando, Indlands Homes, XUL Architecture, Accouter Design and London Management in the UK and internationally. Their work has been recognised with a number of top awards through a diverse range of project briefs. These include three gold medals, two ‘Best Show Garden’ awards at RHS Chelsea Flower and Hampton Court Flower Shows and four international ‘Best Thematic and Innovative Project’ Awards abroad. I wanted to modernise our small London garden and Niulfer helped me to do that perfectly. She not only advised on plants and planting layout but also on fencing and wall colours, paving and pots. The end result is just what I wanted and several friends have asked me for Nilufer's details. Nilufer was very organised and kept me up to date along the way - giving me various options and clearly explaining the costs and timing of each. She organised the gardeners to do the work and all payments for everything went through her which kept it nice and straightforward for me.

Nilüfer has created such a beautiful front and back gardens or us that our neighbours come see it. We had so many complements from even strangers and gardeners. Our new gardener who is also a garden designer himself, was surprised how beautiful it looked and he learnt about some new flowers that Nilüfer introduced to the garden. Our pleeched trees attracted a lot of attention as they are rare to be used in this country. She has been the only person who didn’t disappoint me during our large building project. I did not have to worry about the garden. She arranged everything. She has strict self discipline. Very result oriented and timely. Follows up immediately and easy to communicate. Promptly responds. Has good taste and cares about the garden as it is her own. Also has good suppliers. Strong recommended. You will not be disappointed.

Many thanks for the lovely review. It was great teamwork. I called this garden 'Lockdown Garden' as it was installed in the difficult times... However, it is shining with its beauty now. It will look better when all things are completed.

I contacted Nilly after an extension after which my beautiful garden was in a horrible state. She designed a heaven for our family. Every detail was thought throughout and she remained so involved during and after the works. Now I have a place which gives me joy and happiness, we had countless hours of beautiful memories in our garden already and I cannot thank her enough for the wonderful work she has done for us. I can whole heartedly recommend her.

I had the chance to work with Nilufer Danis for a project in North London last year as she designed the garden whilst I developed an architectural design of the house. She came up with brilliant solutions which would make the most of the garden space and would go very well with the buildings and the rest of the environment. I think the overall design was very functional, balanced in style but it also was specific for the project. As well as being very creative, Nilufer is a very good collaborator as she worked well with us and other professionals on the project.

Working with Nilufer was an absolute pleasure, it was obvious at the beginning of the project we would expensive difficulties due to a complex site, however after working together it became quickly apparent I was in good hands.
