Horizon just completed a landscaping project for us and by far exceeded our expectations! Chris worked with us every step of the way. He was extremely professional and truly listened to what we needed to make our outdoor space feel like home. He created a design that went above and beyond what we could have dreamed of, answered all of our questions and was very responsive. He and his amazing team worked hard and were at our house each day and made sure that the plan was followed perfectly. Chris and everyone at Horizon, thank you for all your hard work. Our house looks beautiful and we are more proud of it than ever!

When I was looking for a company to install my irrigation system; I select three companies online and call each one to get appraisal. Horizon was the most expensive; but I read their reviews from other customers and decided to give it go. I wasn’t disappointed they done a great job, neat, respectful crews and job done on time. I would definitely recommend this company!!!

Very impressed with Horizon Landscaping! I have used them for lighting, irrigation, etc previously but I recently used them to replace three sets of stairs, landings on the back of my house. Work was impeccable. Chris was in contact throughout the entire process making it seamless. The workers were very respectful and always cleaned up at the end of the day. After home renovation destroyed our backyard, we needed to remedy quickly and on a budget. We asked HOUZZ for a recommendation. Ralph from Horizon Landscaping responded quickly and performed a site survey at the time he quoted, was open and enthusiastic to all my ideas. We have property on a hill with a pitch and needed to make better use of the space. Ralph understood what we needed and what could reasonably be done to code. The idea he presented is efficient and suits the house and environment. The job was booked and once work commenced it was completed quickly and on timeline. All the landscaper’s and workers were polite and hardworking. The result in beautiful and also mitigates water run-off. Horizon even let us borrow the extra sprinkler to ensure the sod takes well to the site! Couldn’t be a nicer bunch of guys, easy to talk to, responsible and professional. I highly recommend Horizon Landscaping and Ralph in particular for your next landscaping project.

Ralph and his team did an amazing job on our patio and fire pit. They knocked it out in record time and it looks awesome. Very creative use of our existing boulders to finish the look. We really enjoy the space.

Our entire experience with her Horizon was wonderful! Tim and the crew created a spectacular design and once it was finished we were incredibly impressed.This was an extensive job requiring much renovation that yielded an outdoor kitchen with gorgeous landscaping and wall work. Our town was very difficult to work with. Tim and the crew were relentless in working with an impossible bureaucracy in order to get the job done. As far as we are concerned there is no other landscaping company if you want an amazing job done.

Horizon provides excellent products and service - very professional! Last year they did a project for us and this year we again contacted Horizon to do another project. Both times they exceeded our expectations.

We retained Horizon Landscape this spring and signed a complete maintenance agreement with them and we are very happy with the decision. We moved into our new home and the original landscape was minimal because it was completed in the late fall and we only did what we needed to get our Cert of Occupancy. We met with Chris and he created a complete design which enhanced our property and curb appeal and exceeded what we were looking for. He was very professional and was only concerned with making us happy with the final result. We also had Tom install a complete landscape lighting package which just makes the home stand out in the neighborhood when the sun goes down. Every employee at Horizon is only concerned with customer satisfaction and we recommend them highly, you will not be disappointed.

During the summer of 2016, Horizon transformed our backyard space. They removed our existing deck and built us a 3 level paver patio space with wrap around seating wall and a separate gas fire pit area. They also did our outside lighting and some updates to our sprinkler system. The results are amazing. The team is beyond professional and felt like family by the end of our project. Thanks to Horizon, it's designers, lead project managers and entire team for giving our family and friends a backyard oasis to entertain in.

We just had landscape lighting installed at our home by horizon . What a great experience as they set up trial lighting so I could see what it would look like . What a great idea!! The team was polite and knowledgeable and the girls in the office couldn't be any nicer and helpful. I love my new lights and so do my neighbors.

Horizon just finished a new retaining wall, stairs and landcaping in front of our home. We couldn't be happier with the results or the experience we had with the team at Horizon. The entire team was professional, responsive, engaged in the process, and collaborative throughout. When we had suggestions they listened and worked with us to assure the project was completed to our full satisfaction. We will use then again for sure!

We needed a walkway down the side of our garage to eliminate the erosion caused by a down spout, provide access to the rear yard and match the paver driveway that was installed 15 years earlier. In addition, the sprinkler system had to be modified and the large Hosta on the corner of the garage was used in the side beds, utilizing these existing plants. We are very pleased with the service, work, communication and end product. We received a number of bids, but felt the design and diligent communication by Horizon, made us aware of their commitment to deliver what we wanted. We are very satisfied and will definitely employ Horizon on future projects.

We reached out to Horizon for landscape & patio design/ideas. From the first point of contact until completion of the project, everyone at Horizon was a pleasure to work with. Recently we had the good fortune of selecting and working with Horizon Landscape Company located in Wyckoff, NJ. The project was to design and build our new bluestone front entry steps and walkway to our Allendale residence. We also had them put in a new front lawn which they went the extra mile and set up a temporary irrigation system to make sure the newly seeded lawn was well established. Choosing Horizon was an easy decision after our review of 3 landscape firms. From our first meeting with senior designer Tim Fox, to the entire landscape crew and management team we were pleased with their attention to detail, professional dealings and procedures. As homeowners that enjoy the outdoors as well as the beauty of nature we have every intention to call Horizon for our future landscape projects. Marino 3 Allendale resident

We moved from a condo to our first "house" and one of the biggest surprises we encountered was how expensive and overwhelming the landscaping portion would be. Granted, we had a LOT of work to do including two rock walls, installing sprinklers in the front and back yards, redesigning the front landscape, and redesigning most of our backyard. We got quotes from three companies total and used each quote as a almost a mini "interview" - specifically, we told each company what we were looking for and let them come back to us with their own proposal and quote (we purposely didn't share other quotes). Tim Fox at Horizon Landscape was prompt, thorough, listened to what my vision was and delivered a design and quote that was by far the most aligned with what we wanted. Once we decided to moved forward, his team worked through some of the worst heat of the summer and most importantly, executed everything above my already high expectation. On top of that, we decided to add/change an aspect of the original design halfway through the project and Tim got me a new quote and made it work out logistically seamlessly. Since they finished the work, they've had managers and maintenance crew constantly checking in to see that everything was settling correctly, and fixing any issues they come across (for example, we had a lot of rain which washed some of the grass seed into our planting bed, and they fixed that and replanted the grass seed in the washed out area). This showed me that they have a lot of pride in their work and they're smart enough to realize that because of this positive experience, we're going to use them for the MANY additional projects we have in the future, and I've already referred them to two family members within a week...

Horizon was hired to provide a solution for a complicated water drainage issue and lawn rehabilitation. Tim and Gary diligently studied, evaluated and provided a course of action incorporating my feedback. In addition, I also required that they be sensitive and also consider the interests of my neighbors regarding the drainage issues which they adhered to with the highest standards. Horizon was professional during the whole process and I am pleased with the result. Prior to their work, our lawn would have puddles following rainfall. Today, after a major rainstorm the lawn has no puddles. In addition, the lawn looks and feels great. I am also impressed by the continued monitoring of their work to see that drainage system operating properly following heavy rainfall. In addition, they have been visiting our property on regular basis to check on condition of lawn following the work. It is clear that both Gary and Tim take pride in their work. Received many compliments from neighbors and friends on our lawn. Believe they will reach out to Horizon for work on their own properties. Allendale resident located at high water table area.

We have now done two large projects with Horizon, after purchasing a ~20 year-old property last year. These projects included the installation of a fairly extensive water drainage system on two parts of our property, planting and transplanting of various trees and shrubs, landscape mulching and other renewal, swailway rehabilitation, and smaller items including installation of bluestone foundations for benches, repair of paver patio, clearing of ground drains, etc. Before selecting them, we vetted four other companies in the area. On price, Horizon is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. On what matters - namely expertise and quality of work - we found them to be the best. Gary, Tim, and Kurt proposed the most effective and practical solution for a difficult water drainage problem, which was our initial concern. We have invited them back to do the other projects, and we will continue to use them in the future. Their work is done professionally and courteously. On the one occasion when something did not turn out as planned, they corrected it without any push-back or delay: two Japanese dogwoods that looked great the week they were brought, proved to be non-viable in later weeks. Horizon replaced them immediately with trees from another nursery, which have done great. How they handled this minor issue is reflective of their overall philosophy - they do quality work, and they stand behind it.

As a distributor of landscape equipment and products, we are in a different category from most of the people and businesses Horizon serves as we are a vendor resource for Horizon Landscape Services. Even as a provider, we like to be treated professionally and Horizon does just that. We have observed some of their their client interactions and have drawn conclusions from them. The qualities that we admire in this company are the same that an end user would appreciate: attention to detail, prompt responses, courteousness, quality workpersonship (we are PC!), and professionalism. Those attributes explain why Horizon is a successful enterprise.
