Hobert Pools and Spas

Unreliable! They started our pool 2 months ago and it still is not finished. The scheduler (Angela) is not very responsive and won't tell you timelines in advance. On at least 3 occasions, workers no showed for scheduled work without reason. This was after we were on a 4 WEEK waiting list for tile, which we were not told about until we signed on. They do not schedule out your work, they wait until each phase is completed before scheduling the next crew. This company was very prompt when they wanted our business, but now they have it and they are dragging their feet. It seems they are more concerned with the quantity of sales versus quality of their current customers. They have clearly over committed to new business. We have expressed our frustrations with the company, but no improvements have been made.

Everyone from Patti at the front desk, Kurt designing the pool, Steve managing construction and the crews for each stage of the build were awesome. They were always there anytime we had a question. They always made sure that the pool design and construction was exactly what we wanted and expected. After the pool was completed, Kurt came to our house to make sure that we were happy with the end result. I highly recommend the Rockwall office and all employees.

We used Hobert to build our swimming pool and spa. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable from the beginning. Hobert provides a wonderful experience from design to construction to pool start-up. We felt like we were one of the team. Everyone was very responsive and helpful and made our experience and pool truly unique. Hobert is also very helpful with questions or issues after construction and start-up. I give Hobert my highest recommendation whenever anyone asks. .

Not having built a pool before, we were very nervous about selecting the right builder. Our goal was to go with a company who had a long standing, solid reputation in the DFW area, vs a cheaper alternative. Hobert is one of the companies we vetted along with another known top builder, and a smaller builder who had done many jobs in our neighborhood. Ultimately it was the 10 references I called personally and the sales process, which sold us on Hobert. This included educating us on all aspects of the build...including several renderings and suggestions on what to do and not to do. Other companies, I literally felt I was being pushed through a cycle...not a good feeling when we were not purchasing a low end pool/spa. Hobert did a great job managing our expectations on timing, mess and input needed by us along the way. The pool was finished quickly, even before another pool which started in the neighborhood before ours. We had a few instances where we didn't like the stone mix chosen or drainage watchouts, but everything was taken care of by either Aaron (on-site) or Duke (head supervisor in office). Net, the process was not nearly as stressful as we thought it was going to be...where neighbors appeared to fight with their pool companies throughout the process. A year later, we have been 100% satisfied with our selections for the pool and the service we have received on minor items. I cannot express enough that if you spend this much money on a purchase to do your research, include Hobert in your consideration set and don't go for the lowest bid. No, I am not a relative of someone who works for Hobert! Relative to the literal dozens of pools installed in my neighborhood, we are the only family who is not complaining about their pool process and follow-up service. I know I can always call Hobert if I need any further assistance. They know my name, and are always very helpful and return calls promptly. Thank you Hobert team! Jim & Shannon Henderson

They built me an amazing pool. Very organized and always kept me in the loop during the build. One year later I had a couple minor things that needed to to fixed and they were on top of it to repair and replace parts all under warranty. Don't hesitate to have them build you a pool!!
