As an award winning Bay Area based designer, I started my company by transforming a neighbor's garden after they completed an extensive remodel. The difference in the garden before and after was amazing. The homeowners and their neighbors were thrilled with the result. I love my work and always strive to connect with my clients, providing them with top quality service. My goal on every project is to create a unique and high quality garden that meets the client's needs, enhances its existing surroundings and is climate-appropriate. I strive to create outdoor spaces that enhance my client's lifestyle and bring ease, beauty and functionality to the new space. I work with several different licensed landscape contractors to install my designs. I supervise the installation and always follow up in the months after project completion.

We had lost a number of beautiful old oak trees in winter storms, and not only did she help us find better replacements but she is helping us update and fill in our once beautiful yard, with low water plants and other options . We appreciate her skill and patience. Highly recommend her!

“…Doesn’t the garden look amazing!”… We say this everyday as we sit in the front yard which we call the secret garden. Our garden is a special jewel box with new blooming surprises everyday. Kristen planted it in Feb 2023 and said it would take a year or two to see results. As luck would have it, it rained. Now our garden gets compliments everyday and it looks like it’s been around for years. We couldn’t be more pleased with Kristin’s vision. She worked great with our contractor and our maintenance people. The back yard is wonderful and thriving, too. In the evenings we sit by the fire pit and admire how beautiful the backyard looks with an enlarged deck, new planting and lighting. We can’t say enough about how much we love what Kristin has done for our home. We got along great and would gladly be a reference.

Kristin was wonderful to work with- great ideas, tons of passion and managed any challenges that came up. She helped us find someone to install the project and helped manage them. When surprises came up as they always do, she was quick to jump in and help - coming over to the project immediately. We have had many neighbors comment on how nice the yard looks and I have happily passed Kristin's contact info along. We were trying to make the garden more drought friendly but still add movement, color and reflect the house ( and our personalities a bit)- she did just that!

We loved working with Kristin. She had great ideas on both large- and small-scale for our landscaping remodel. She started by drafting a color, scaled drawing of our yards, indicating where everything (plants, pergola, fire pit, etc.) would go. After reviewing that with us and incorporating our feedback, we had a detailed plan that was ready for the contractors to get to work She worked with the contractors to verify the placement of everything. The end result of our project looks great and works really well for us to have friends and family over. Another big plus for Kristin is that she has great contacts in a variety of specialties, ranging from arborists to interior designers. I’m sure we’ll be working with Kristin and her contacts in the future.

Do not hire. This “pro” doesn’t draw, doesn’t measure, doesn’t pick out materials, doesn’t implement any plans you ask for… what does she do? She flips you someone else’s planting plan, overbills and pretends it’s a mistake and has a student measure and draw for her for $40 an hour. Thank god for the pool guy catching the errors or we would have dug our pool in the wrong spot. There were so many red flags from the beginning working with Kristin I wish I had heeded them and trusted my gut.

We worked with Kristin Davis on a full redesign of our front yard and were exceedingly happy with both the quality of her design and her project management . She did the design work for the layouts of hardscapes and plant materials, incorporating the ideas we had and improving upon them. For example, she suggested we add a fire pit, instead of just a seating area. And she recommend a few new planting beds I hadn't thought of. Kristin also oversaw many aspects of the installation (by our contractor) to ensure that it met my exacting standards. She helped me & the contractor work through the dozens of little details that end up being necessary (fence hardware, placement of irrigation valves, precise layout of stepping stones). We highly recommend working with Kristin and expect to consult her regularly for upkeep on the rest of our yard.

She took a small space and created a lawn that fulfilled all of our priorities in terms of open space, seating and landscaped foliage. Her selection of plant and tree material was excellent and created a palette of natural beauty in the yard that we would never have imagined ourselves at the outset. Kristin also referred us to high quality contractors who executed her design of our small yard flawlessly. We would use Kristin again for future jobs and recommend her without hesitation.

Kristin is that fabulous combination of a highly skilled design professional and a delight to work with. Her garden proposal was not cookie-cutter, but rather was based on how we live within our surroundings. She was patient and endlessly creative as we refined and finally selected our final design. She arranged for us to meet and get proposals from two highly professional garden contractors, then acted as our advocate and trouble-shooter during the installation process. Kristin is knowledgeable, creative, responsive and fun to work with. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

She was willing to work within our existing hardscape to create a gorgeous and easy to care for garden. The tulip display in the front yard was magnificent. We worked with Kristin on a major redo of our landscaping following a major house remodel. We want to convert to drip irrigation and use more drought-tolerant plants while also having some color, flowers, etc. We've had Kristin back a number of times since then for updates and modifications. Kristin worked with us on both hardscape and landscape remodels for our front yard last year and our backyard this year. Her suggestions and designs were a perfect match for the goals we had for our home. Kristin's creativity and knowledge of plants allowed her to work with some challenging spacial limitations our yard presented. We were excited to be able to show off our beautiful, new yard for our large Thanksgiving gathering. Kristin has a great eye for design. Our project with her was to do a redesign of our front and back yards with a focus on conserving water, making our spaces more inviting, and updating the aesthetics of our gardens. Kristin excelled at all of these, and we're very happy with the outcome. There were hardscaping elements and plantings in our garden that we wanted to preserve, and Kristin harmoniously integrated them into a beautiful, water-conscious, and updated landscape design. Kristin also played a key role in identifying and working with a terrific landscape contractor to realize the overall vision. We feel like we have a wonderful new outdoor living area to enjoy with family and friends.

Kristin Davis is excellent. We worked with her this summer, where she designed a complete backyard remodel, including new patio, fire feature, water feature, and planting plans. She listened very well to the type of design we wanted, and also added her own personal touches that made it even better. We are now working together on a second project for my front yard. Kristin is personable and easy to work with, but also very professional. She made frequent site visits and stayed on top of the contractors, especially making sure the planting all went well. When things did not go as planned, Kristin stepped up and straightened things out. Highly recommended.

Our landscaping project was a complete remodel of our back and front yards which included retaining walls, installation of irrigation system, building of hardscape and water feature. Kristin listened to our desires and needs for our outside living space and incorporated all of those and then some. She proposed ideas and worked with us to provide an ideal outside scape that we love. It is comfortable year round and has visual interest at every turn and throughout the year.
