Terrible. Waste of tens of thousands of dollars. Countless hours of aggravation. - We were treated like 2nd class clients as soon as we signed the contract. We followed up with them for weeks from March to May to get them to come to do the “spring cleanup”, which is $2k for pruning, planting grass, etc. by the time they came in May, weeds were everywhere and the lawn had major issues. Further, we were under the impression that they fertilized everything in the spring as part of the “spring cleanup” but only in September did we find out that it was never fertilized and that’s part of the reason why everything was dying. Perhaps they treat long-standing clients that have $10M homes better, but who knows. - About 30-40% of the plants have died or are on their way to dying more than a year out (past their replacement guarantee). - Terrible plan. We trusted their plan for the re-doing the full property, but it ended up being all wrong. We had a botanist come to see what the issues were with our plants and she explained that it is landscaping 101 to not plant plants that need full sun in full shade and vice versa, but that’s exactly what they did. - Mud pit lawn. They were not responsive so long in the fall to reseed the lawn so that the grass never fully grew by winter and we were left with mud with just some peach fuzz grass sticking up. - Overpriced. Their quote for landscaping the full property was significantly higher than all others we received and they said that their high fees were because they were the best so we foolishly trusted them. - The guys who actually worked onsite were great and always friendly. The decision making and client service at the company was the problem.

Fantastic service, incredible attention to detail and very professional. If you want to hire someone who does it properly and in the "old school" manner, then I highly recommend F. Capparelli Landscape and Design. Gus renovated an existing pool area, added a pizza oven and created an outdoor kitchen including a refrigerator and sink using connecticut 4 inch granite. He and his team are true craftsmen and artisans. Beautiful job and very easy to work with.
