I am Sue Bullock and I have been working as a garden designer for over 20 years. I started Emotive Garden Designs believing that I could give something special to my clients, who have come back to me time and again. I love my work, and nothing gives me greater pleasure than to see the gardens I have created over the years mature and give pleasure to people from all walks of life. I hand draw all of my designs on a draughting board, and believe that a hands on approach is very important, from designing the initial plans, right through to planting and maintenance. I am passionate about keeping traditions alive, and I believe this shows in my style of work. We would highly recommend Sue for garden design. She worked with us over the course of 12 months plus to re-design our garden to create some wind-proof areas and re-do the design, landscaping and planting. She was professional from the start, coming up with 3 designs to help us choose. She gave alot of her time and was patient with our needs. Sue recommended a wonderful company to do the landscaping and they were also excellent. Sue's planting schemes have been great and very beautiful. They fit our needs really well and whilst we lost a few plants due to the drought, most are flourishing now with bees and butterflies a plenty. She has helped us create a wonderful space, in which we love to work and spend time.

Sue has worked with us for more than 15 years and has transformed our dull lawn into a beautiful, inspiring garden enjoyed by us and admired by all who visit us. The quality of her work, her attention to detail, her research to find and suggest appropriate plants for the brief we gave her and then to source quality plants, her continued care and attention with cloud-pruning and spraying - we feel we are very fortunate to have found her and have been so confident in her ability that we have called her back on further occasions to work on other parts of our garden. We have not added photographs of our garden as there are plenty of them to be seen on the Emotive Gardens website.
