Adam and his team did an outstanding job both designing and implementing our landscaping and pool. Adam clearly listened to what we were looking for and created a perfect plan and concept. The design came together beautifully through his team who were each a delight to work with and took such great care in what they did for us. Follow up and follow through was also exceptional. In the end we got so much more then what we expected - we have a stunning oasis to play in the city and quickly became our favourite "room" in the house. Actually we found D.A. Gracey and made our first contact through their Web Site. And within few days we met Adam. Right after the first meeting we knew it was a good match. They completely landscaped our backyard. Backyard space is scarce and expensive in Downtown Toronto and they really make sure we use all of it intelligently. Adam has really taken the time to listen about our need and about what we like and don't like. Supported by his team he came back with good ideas, a plan and a budget. And thereafter from A to Z no disappointment they've been efficient, professional and responsive. We ended up with a wonderful backyard but what I really liked is the fact that we stayed within budget. Anyone who had to deal with house renovation knows how painful it is to deal with contractors that constantly bust the contingency budget. No doubt I'll recommend them to my friends. I have to admit I am quite picky and I rarely give comment or rate a Company job simply because it is so rare that they meet my expectation. They deserve it and I thank you Adam and his team.

Very rare, that the reality is better than the plans and the pictures...it is our case. We love our small backyard and everyone that have seen it is amazed by the transformation. Adam's team is great, professional and fun to work with. They have also follow through by repecting budget and schedule and they continue to do the maintenance on a regular basis. Too bad we only have one backyard!!!

We recently undertook a completely new build and were fortunate enough to be referred (by two friends) to DA Gracey & Associates for our landscaping needs. From the very first meeting (almost a year prior to actual landscaping), we were impressed with Adam's ability to ask the right questions, explain in detail how the process works from start to finish and to engender confidence in his company. Adam was always good for his word. He showed up when he said he was going to, the pricing was exactly as he had quoted and he provided the best team of courteous, knowledgeable and hardworking landscape artists, horticulturalists, stone masons and back office staff. He patiently walked us through planning for the space and the plantings with enthusiasm and humour. Neighbours frequently commented at what a good job he and his crew were doing! Now THAT is a real compliment! I would highly recommend D.A. Gracey & Associates (and already have!).

I will start by saying that I've done a complete overhaul of my home and, after that experience, do not trust contractors. Because of this, I decided to look up professional associations' websites. After seeing before and after pictures of one of their smaller projects, I thought DA Gracey would be a good fit. I have a "big" backyard by downtown Toronto standards and did not want to lose space. I called three firms. They were all pleasant but Adam was the only one who sat me down and interviewed me about the intended use of the space etc. He asked about who I was, my lifestyle etc and showed pictures to see how I responded to the different design styles. He came up with a plan. I am not a very visual person so even when the plans were drawn, I was a bit hesitant. Before the job started, Adam heard my hesitation and sat with me again as he said that he wanted to ensure that I was happy and he was willing to change the plans if need be. He did not have to but encouraged me to be onsite during construction so that I could interact as things were coming along. This is where it got better! His staff is the most absolutely amazing and respectful group of people I have ever met. I felt special. I felt as if they were vested in the project. We interacted a lot but they always kept it professional. Knowing my reservations, Adam also prepared me each step of the way about how things would progress e.g. "once the fence goes up, the place would look smaller", etc. To be honest, it unfolded so perfectly that I actually gave him the go ahead to put in the trees I was afraid would have swamped the place. The end result was amazing! I am so very happy and, as beautiful as it is now, just live in constant anticipation of how it would look like once it fills in. This company likes what they do, takes pride in what they do, are professional and work extraordinarily well together. I actually missed them when they were gone (should I say that?). And don't just take my word for it: My immediate neighbour had his place done.. Those workers actually raved about quality the work in my yard saying it was excellent stone work. They were constantly trying to see what was being done which prompted my neighbour to ask to see it! He was wowed!! This backyard cost me way more than I intended to spend but I have not ever ever regretted a cent I spent. And they will be doing my front yard in the next year too!

In the hustle and bustle of Downtown Toronto, in the Garden District area, there is what I affectionately refer to as my “postage stamp” garden. It is serene, safe and secure and easy for we “Boomers” to look after. It has an almost Zen like quality which can be adjusted by the presence of objets d’art and decorative pieces. It is a lovely blank canvas, with very few flowers. However, there are wonderful trees and shrubs and inspirational lighting. One can change the feeling of the space very easily by adding potted plants for every season of the year. We wish we would have attempted this project earlier, however the process seemed too daunting. However, with the assistance of D.A. Gracey Landscaping, it came together. We enjoy looking at in every season, thanks to our dining room windows. Even our cat loves it.

D.A Gracey & Associates completely landscaped of our country property. They removed most of the existing gardens and infrastructure and built stone walkways, a wooden deck, architectural wall features and a pergola. They planted 2,000 shrubs, trees and perennials in the gardens which included a fully integrated watering and lighting system. Adam’s team was highly professional, their workmanship first rate. I would highly recommend D.A. Gracey & Associates for any landscaping job, big or small.

Adam listened to what we wanted and our vision, not just his ideas and in combination with booth, Adam and his crew did a wonderful job in our front yard landscaping. Our home now has EXCELLENT curb appeal!
