Cross Points Landscaping

We couldn't be more unhappy or frustrated with Cross Points Landscaping. Initially, we were very excited about working with Sean and his team on the total rehab of our deck. But as the project continued to drag on with delays, we became more frustrated. Especially due to the slow or lack of responses to calls or emails to Sean. Making matters worse - the ENTIRE decking needs to be replace. Every piece of deck flooring has already accumulated mold and mildew. The deck was finished in August of 2017. Within 60 days mold and mildew had started to cover EVERY board. Sean is aware of the issue. He has seen the damage first hand. He has blamed it on his vendor and recognized that this should be his issue to resolve - not ours. Yet, since October Sean has failed to respond to calls or emails. We were promised a much higher level of service. The material used for our decking is defective, substandard and nowhere close to what was promised - or paid for. And as of the date of this review, Sean and Cross Points has failed to take steps to resolve any issues. Sad, we expected and hoped for more.

Sean designed and installed a landscape project for our lake lot with steep slopes where erosion was a concern. Not all landscape contractors are up to the task. His design included perennials, bushes and Brown County stone boulders. His design was great, project went well. The problem is the complete lack of follow up, including standing by Sean’s/Cross Points touted 2 year plant guarantee. After 1 year Sean emailed me to ask about the plants. I told him that a couple of the smaller plants died, not a big surprise as there were a lot of them. Then no response to several requests to come out. Asked again shortly before the 2-year anniversary—no response. By now almost all of the smaller plants have died. I cannot recommend Sean or Cross Points to anyone.

Sean designed and built our new backyard patio and pergula. It is absolutely wonderful. He worked with us and took our ideas and made them better. He also was able to adapt the design to fit in our budget. We hope to have him back next year to work on phase two of our project. I would absolutely recommend Sean for any of your outdoor projects. His crew was a pleasure to work with on this challenging project.

I had drainage issues as my house is at the bottom of hill that wraps around like 1/2 a bowel. Sean designed a berm to move the water down the road to drain away from the house with boulders, rocks and looks fantastic. The second part was digging out an area to catch the remaining water into a french drain and installed shrubbery and more boulders. The drainage issue is fixed and all the work is beautiful. Other companies just wanted to install a retaining wall that would cost more but not solve all of the issues. Cross Points did this Thanksgiving week and went the extra mile to really make it look good for Thanksgiving as I had a house full of guests. The crew cleaned up every night and were respectful even though it was a multi day job. Bottom line; Cross Points did all sorts of calculations and a created a model video to demonstrate the design. Professional, customer service oriented, good value for the money and knew what they were doing. I will be using them again the spring for additional work.

Sean of Cross Points Landscaping designed and finished our hardscape to completion. He came up with a unique plan that we really loved. Sometimes when you see something in the planning stage, it just doesn't quite look exactly as you had envisioned once complete. However, in this case it exceeded our expectations. We are totally satisfied with the end result. In addition to our lovely patio (hardscape area), Sean also planned all our landscaping about the patio as well as around the new porch addition we had recently completed & a remote flower bed that Sean designed. We were thrilled with his plant selections and really feel so fortunate to have found someone with his experience and 'touch' for landscaping. We have never enjoyed our home and back yard as much as we have this past year. We would highly recommend Sean and Cross Points Landscaping.

From start to finish this is the best landscaping company that we ever hired. They did a fantastic job and we cannot think them enough. Our back yard has been transformed into our own private nature preserve.
