BLOEM GARDENS

Bloem Gardens is a landscape design firm focused on creating dynamic garden spaces that activate our senses by connecting our built environment to the living nature surrounding us. Considering this relationship of the built and natural environments, we look for the unique site conditions, ecology, and context that belong to each individual project. We then aim to highlight these individualities with designed outdoor spaces in which we can relax, play, and interact. Our design principles emphasize climate appropriate plants, regional hardscape materials, stormwater mitigation, and wildlife habitats. With thoughtful plant selections, we are able to create variety of spaces from water loving rain-gardens that collect collect runoff to arid xeri-scaped dry gardens. Combining a textured fabric of plants with rotating perennial flowers, our gardens can provide year round shelter and foraging for birds and pollinators.
