Welcome to the William Robbins Furniture section of Houzz.com. Enjoy reviewing this selection of our work and please keep in mind that we are a small shop thriving on personal relationships and most of the designs represented here can be customized to meet a client's specifications. Throughout the 40 years this shop has practiced the art and trade of furniture design the consistent theme has been to produce elegant, understated work that is originally conceived, that functions well in contact with the human body, and that can be expected to perform for 100 years. You will notice that solid hardwood locally sourced is our primary material. Traditional joinery is preferred but there are times when veneers and plywoods combined with newer technologies for joining wood are the successful choices to accomplish a particular design. I have a collection of William Robbins Furniture Designs in my historic home. William Robbins designs are unique and not what one would normally expect to find in an historic home. Yet the contrast works extraordinarily well. The furniture is well built and I expect will be kept in my family for many years to come.

William Robbins creates his furniture with great attention to design as well as functionality. His craftsmanship is exquisite. Every detail is well thought out. He built a gorgeous dining room set for me, table and six chairs, with flowing, graceful lines and a beautiful combination of woods. A sideboard/wine rack complements the dining set. William often incorporates a bit of whimsy in his designs. He added a delicate touch of blue to tie in with my blue Wedgwood dinnerware. His works are definitely one of a kind, that make a "wow" statement in any room.

I have worked with William Robbins several times. He has done major kitchen installations in two of my homes, and a custom dining room set for me, as well as a number of smaller projects. I have also purchased several of his stand-alone pieces. For the custom work, he carefully reviews my specifications, and makes helpful suggestions. He keeps me apprised of progress. He delivers on time. Robbins’ work is innovative, exquisitely crafted, and eye catching. While modern in design, the pieces fit in beautifully with my traditional décor. I can attest that his work holds up well to the wear and tear of a lively family.
