OROA - Distinctive Furniture

Great service, nice recommendations and curated design. Answered my questions on a timely mattered and was able to put a project together that matched my expectations.

I got familiar with the brand a few years ago when i was living in spain. I didnt had the space for new furniture. I moved last year to coral gables and found out that Oroa is carrying this dutch brand. The pieces I found together with the sales person in the store are absolutely adorable in my kitchen space. I went back last week to the store to find my sofa and side tables, it got delivered today and my house starts to look complete. A few more accessories and knick knacks and my home is finished. Thank you for all the help and giving me some new ideas.

I was asked to write a review about my equestrian lamps. Well why not OrOa. The delivery of the lamps took some time, because they told me they had to come from Europe, so it took 2 months nd a half. The communication with houzz was good. I like my lamps, but I would have gave more stars if I hadn’t had to wait so long.

Gaby and Roman are so helpful and wonderful to work with. When we had the opportunity to be part of a designer show house, we immediately reached out to them to see if they would provide items for us to decorate our rooms. With their help we were able to create beautiful spaces and we received so much positive feedback on how great their products are. We have used items from Oroa for many of our clients. The price point is great and the quality is fantastic.

Consumer Alert: Oroa charged a 25% restocking fee for the return of a defective product claiming it worked before it was shipped. I purchased an Eichholtz floor lamp from Oroa for $1,050 which, upon receipt, was inoperative. I notified Oroa of the defect and requested a return goods authorization so that I could return the lamp for a refund. Oroa advised I must provide evidence (i.e video) to prove that the lamp was defective or incur a 25% restocking fee per their returned goods policy and pay for return shipping. I recorded a video showing that a functioning light bulb would not illuminate in this lamp but before I could even upload it, I received an email from the owner stating: "Please send us back the floor lamp in its original packaging. Once inspected we will refund you, minus the 25% restocking fee clearly stated in our return policy on our website:http://www.oroa.com/pages/return-policy. For your information this item was inspected and was in perfect condition before it left our facility, we have pictures of all items before they are shipped.” I attempted to contact Oroa by phone but no one would answer. I then received an email from the owner demanding that I stop calling and informing me that "we will only respond by emails, there’s a procedure please follow it." I, nonetheless uploaded the video and sent it to the owner, but receipt records indicate he never downloaded it for viewing. I repackaged and returned the lamp to Oroa at a cost of $80. Upon receipt, Oroa acknowledged the lamp did not work but then attempted to shift the blame to me alleging I broke the lamp. They wrote: "Due to the dis-assembly that was done at your home, the lamp now unsellable nor is it functional.” The only “disassembly" required is the loosening of a wing nut to remove the lamp from its tripod base. There is no correlation between the assembly/disassembly and the electrical functionality of the lamp itself. Despite my challenge to their claim, Oroa did not elaborate on how the disassembly could cause a bulb not to illuminate. Oroa refunded only $787.32 while retaining $262.68 for themselves as a “restocking fee” for the return a defective product. They refused to reimburse me for shipping.

Oroa is a unique furniture store that just opened their new showroom in Miami. We are familiar with their products from Europe and are very pleased that they are now available in Miami. Their designs are fabulous, luxurious in style within an affordable price range. - And the quality is amazing. We have been very happy, how our first order was handled: fast, easy, and prompt. Piere, was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Oroa and would always work with them again.

Oroa carries a great line of contemporary furniture which fits many classic and modern interiors. They were able to provide us with furnishings, lighting, and accessories that complimented our high end Interior Design service. We were able to meet our deadline and make our client very happy due to their prompt service and in-stock items. Within a few days they were able to deliver all of our selections which look amazing. I was contacted by Roman earlier this month that I had won furniture from Oroa in a promotional contest they were hosting. I couldn't have been more excited, as I have never won anything in my life! I now have a gorgeous dining room table as well well as a magnificent table center piece. Roman was a delight to work with and the furniture is of the utmost quality and beauty. The whole process was amazing down to the shipping--I got everything BEFORE Christmas within a week of placing my order! I knew of Eichholtz being dutch and having lived in Holland but had no idea Oroa was the first to bring the line to the US. I've shared my story with family and friends and their first trip was immediately to the website :) I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much Oroa!

It has been a true pleasure working with Gaby & Roman. The Eicholtz Brand has been one of my favorite brands for a long time being from the Netherlands and it is about time it arrived in the United States. The Furniture is gorgeous!! The designs are amazing with a modern look but very charming, warm, cozy feel! The way they decorate the condo it was done with taste and class and very well thought out, phenomenal service!! The entire design fit the budget and I can't address enough to encourage anyone to hire them to decorate your home. Since I had a deadline to meet they stayed late hours made sure everything arrived on time, truly a fantastic experience! I had chosen a chair which I really thought would work well and they gave me a different option and they were absolutely right! Overall 5 stars!

We had the opportunity to work with the team at OROA’s for a client looking for a complete solution for his apartment in South Beach. Gaby helped us to set up a nice and complete package for them. They had a great collection and a large inventory. Delivery was done in 48h, on time and the result was simply stunning. They were really efficient and the client could't be more happy.

Just came back from Paris furniture and decoration fair. Their exhibition stand was enormous and it was so busy we barely could walk in it! I was once again amazed by this brand Eichholtz. Most of my London apartment was made with their products. The design and quality is absolutely stunning. I moved back to NYC for few weeks now, and I'm happy to see they are coming to the US, can't wait to see what this online store has to offer. I will for sure go again with those guys.
