Focused on building artistic and functional furniture with natural edges (flat-sawn lumber). We specialize in creating custom furniture: coffee tables, sofa tables, hallway tables, writing desks, dining tables, bar tops, foyer tables, end tables, conference tables and counter tops one piece at a time. All trees are sustainably harvested; either dead, diseased, or already fallen timber from urban or rural areas (mostly within Kentucky). All of our inventory consists of live edge slabs that have been air dried for years and solar or electric dry kilned. We pride ourselves on quality over quantity and take an artistic approach to each piece produced. All work is done by hand from harvest to finish and catered to our clients needs and wants. Drew at Kentucky Live Edge built me a coffee table that is just stunning. He was very consultative and communicative during the process and was surprisingly on-schedule. The only thing that got in the way was COVID, but he shipped it as soon as he could and it makes the living room.

The craftsmanship is superb and the ability to turn an idea into a finished product is what really makes this business stand out. Table w/ benches & office table

I've had both my dining table, benches and my new office standing table made by Kentucky Live Edge. All of the pieces are beautifully made and arrived in perfect condition. I've had my table and benches for over 5 years and they're still in perfect condition and I've moved 3 times since then. I changed my mind multiple times on my office table and Drew worked with me for weeks on revisions and wood options. He stayed in contact and was extremely patient with all my questions. I would recommend them Drew for anyone as his work ethic and product are both amazing. I'll buy from Drew again as soon as I have another project for him. Love, love, love my pieces!

A true craftsman! This guy is the absolute best at what he does. Drew made some custom shelves for my barbershop and they turned out absolutely amazing! I can't praise this guy enough, if your looking for live edge then you've got to try him out!

Where do I start! I contacted drew one late night expecting to get a reply in a few days, 15 minutes later I had some answers for my project. I told Drew what I liked and sent him a few photos. I told him to "do his thing, If you think something needs done or would be awesome then go with it". ( I figure you get the best results out of an artist when you give them some slack). Drew for sure met my standards when it comes to artistic! He was prompt with sending slabs to pick from, ideas, and updates on the progress. I can't express how happy I am with the finished product, and the fact Everything is handmade with pristine quality. Cant wait to have another piece made! I was lucky enough to be 4 hours away from him so I went down and picked up my desk in person. Drew and I ended up chatting for about an hour and half. This solidified how happy I am to have a quality product made by a person that cares about their craft! If you're looking for some old school tactics and professionalism with quality work pull the trigger! You'll love the process and the finished product! CHEERS, KSB

Ordered a custom desk, it arrived damaged. Drew wants nothing to do with it as it was “custom”. Most people would not order an $1,800 desk that wobbles and has flaws in it. He was supposed to send photos prior to shipping and did not. Would not recommend at all.

Dear Concerned Client,

It's unfortunate your piece was damaged during transportation. We use a professional packaging service and insure everything that leaves our shop (with signature for delivery) to compensate for the rare instance in which a piece sustains damage during shipment. You were sent e-mails containing photographs of the piece setup on two separate occasions, prior to packaging/shipment. Your response to the second e-mail was, "Thanks for sending pics, it looks great!" Your piece arrived on a Friday evening. By Monday morning, we had received around 20 e-mails from you containing threatening, slanderous and malicious dialogue. You were offered a refund in full including complimentary return shipping. You rejected the offer and stated you wanted to, "keep the desktop." From that point, we fabricated and shipped you a custom set of new legs and refunded your initial packaging/shipping costs. We also sent a check in the full amount for a quote you obtained from a local woodworking shop to repair the damaged wooden top. We are sorry that your perception of our product or service was anything less than stellar.

Drew’s work is stunning. We love the beautiful pieces of furniture that he designed and made for our new home. He is very talented and I would recommend his work to anyone. The while process from start to finish was exceptional and very professional. I am already dreaming of the next piece for him to design.

I was in search of a new custom desk for my home office. I wanted something unique and very modern. I stumbled across some photos of Kentucky Live Edge work on the web. I contacted them and within the hour I received a response from Drew! We talked through questions and different wood options, I sent Drew photos of our space and style and he was quickly able to help focus our direction and design. He sent multiple photos of wood and finish options for both the desk and also the bases. Once I selected my final design - Drew kept us up to date weekly on the progress and sent photos. The process was fun and it was really neat to see the progress of these pieces of art. We were so impressed with the desk and the process we worked with Drew on a second piece for our foyer - a live edge bench that we are anticipating in time for the new year! I would definitely recommend working with Drew and Kentucky Live Edge. You are purchasing a truly custom piece of art. Drew's craftsmanship and customer service is out of this world!

Absolutely first rate work. I couldn't be happier. The professionalism is like nothing I've seen before. Drew showed a true concern about which shade of black or grey in the metal of my item was going to go best with my other furniture, that's the level of genuine care you get. The table they made me is striking without being overbearing, and my guests always ask about it. The construction quality is superb.
