If you are tired of the same old furniture that you see in most furniture stores, then our furniture will be a breath of fresh air. John Michael Originals Furniture Company was started in a garage in 2001 and presently has grown to a 15,000 square foot shop with six employees. The furniture is created with mostly reclaimed lumber from old houses and buildings that are being destroyed. John Michael OriginalsOwner, Mike Moore, started selling his furniture only at flea markets. Now the furniture is shown at the Dallas Market at Tailors on Ten and at the Toronto Canada Market. John Michael Originals furniture has been seen in several magazines such as Furniture Today, Romantic Home, Southern Home and soon to be featured in St. Louis Home magazine. Currently, the furniture shows in stores all over the Midwest and Southern states such as Three French Hens in St. Louis, Revivals in Nashville, Phoenix Interiors in Little Rock and at Fresh Ayers in Mike's hometown of Hannibal, Missouri. Our designs lend themselves to several looks, from French Country, Lodge, Cottage, to a simple country style. We specialize in one of a kind pieces but show a line of furniture that can be duplicated. Each piece is unique as it is made from salvaged wood.
