Grain of Thought

Welcome to Grain of Thought, where the natural beauty of wood is celebrated in an array of forms and influences. Grain of Thought is: A time honored tradition using materials which can't be improved upon to create enduring pieces. When designing a piece, I feel that if I put the wood first and honor it the best way that I know, then the end result may be something as timeless as the materials in which were used to make it. I enjoy the collaborative process with clients, designers, and other professionals. Each piece is unique and tells a story. Knowing that families will celebrate special occasions and have family meals at my tables, spend time together in their living rooms with my coffee tables and media centers, or write special letters on my desks brings me great joy. Knowing that my furniture will be passed down to the next generation fills me with pride that I’ve created something timeless.
