My name is Erika. I moved from a small eastern European country, form Hungary, to the United States in 1999. After my favorite grandma , who I loved so so much, passed away on January 4, 2012, I started painting furniture, which helped me to go through the grieving and helped me to heal emotionally. Painting furniture turned into my passion and it has become something I enjoy doing tremendously. I love transforming antique and vintage furniture into something new and exhilarating with the influence of the old world, timeworn look.
My furniture painting technique is inspired by the classic French Country and Gustavian furniture design and I love to transform antique and vintage furniture into something new and exhilarating with the influence of the old world look for somebody's beautiful home.
