ETC for the home

We had an absolute flawless experience working with Jenna at ETC for the Home. First of all, the store offers high quality, unique and exceptional furniture & accessorizing pieces for every decorating need. Jenna listened to our interests and then helped us with the design of our rooms. She not only came to our lake home, but did room graphs to assure the furniture would be a perfect design and fit. Jenna helped us find furniture style and fabrics, make selections, place custom orders, and identify interesting pieces for our build/remodel. She adhered closely to time lines, assisted with storage and made sure everything was done professionally. She was attentive from the start to the project completion. She even accompanied pieces upon delivery to make sure everything arrived safely and worked as planned. Everything turned out beautifully! We would recommend Jenna, and ETC for the Home for gifts, home furnishings, decorating and finding that special piece for your home.

Nichole was a blast to work with. She took our small budget, made big changes, and reinvented our business. We've had designers and architects from (as far as) Australia comment on the quality of our space – and Nichole deserves all the credit. We'll be calling her again soon!

Dennis Kemp designed our house, then worked with Jenna Miller and Pam Gordon to acquire 100% of our furnishings. We have been remodeling our house, going for a very modern look and just could not get anything to work together, with rooms not flowing smoothly, and thus came to a standstill do to lack of motivation. We then meet with designer Nichole Hawkins, and she was able to make suggestions and take us thru our project, addressing every detail with complete confidence and professionalism. Nichole was able to pull our disorganized DIY homeowner project together and add the finishing touches. We absolutely love it now. ETC was able to provide most every item for our project. ETC is a store that carries the high quality, unique products not found in your general home decor store, with every item displayed to perfection, and a staff that are always very helpful and friendly. It's always a joy to stop in and walk thru ETC, with the never ending changes in displays and chatting with the staff.

Laura Taylor from ETC did an absolutely marvelous job in designing and helping us pick out and purchase furniture and accessories for a condo we recently purchased. She is very professional and just an all around good person to work with. It was great to have Laura come over and look at what we had in terms of space and the other furnishings we kept from the move. We attempted to furnish the condo by ourselves and we simply did not know what we were doing and we wanted our new place to look nice. After working with Laura, she made the process so easy and she was great in terms of listening to what we want and being able to match us up with some great furnishing. She was also great at following up on our orders with the various factories and making sure things were delivered properly. She is outstanding and we will recommend her and ETC to anyone. For reference, we purchased a kitchen set, office furniture, and master bedroom furniture from Laura. Laura took some pictures and we would approve attaching those pictures to this review.

I have recently purchased a small house and worked with Laura from ETC on furnishing my living room. I wanted to create a feeling of circular and intimate space but I wasn't quite sure myself what exactly I wanted. Laura proved to be a wonderful help. She came to my house to see the space and understand how I envision the room. She was able to diagnose what I liked and needed much better than I was able to articulate it and after a while I ended up with three beautiful pieces from ETC. One is a unique rounded cranberry velvet sofa from Swaim, which Laura was able to get for me at a great price especially considering the exquisite quality and design of the piece; the other two were customized pieces from Norwalk, an ottoman and an armchair. They all look great and I'm happy with Laura's recommendations. Laura never pressured me to buy anything, she understood what I can and cannot afford and I simply felt well-taken care for by someone who really wanted to help making my space beautiful. I strongly recommend Laura--she knows what she is doing, she does her research, she is friendly and warm, and she is patient. I also had a chance to work with Pamela from ETC who helped me with the blinds for my two bedrooms and one bathroom and what I said about Laura I could be repeated about Pamela. ETC has a great team of people who truly care about their clients. I'm sure I will work with them in the future.

I ordered a custom-made sofa and loveseat from ETC. Laura Taylor was very knowledgeable and helpful to me in choosing fabric, size, and style. My new sofa and loveseat are exactly what I had envisioned. They are perfect for my home and I credit that to her attention to all the details.

After a job relocation to Indiana we purchased a home in Bloomington and found ourselves in need of window blinds and treatments as well as a few pieces of furniture and accessories. I had the pleasure of working with Pam Gordon and Nicole Hawkins on these projects and the result is one that we are extremely happy with. Pam and Nicoles' expertise and design knowledge is impressive; they are patient listeners and as detail oriented as we are so it was a perfect marriage!

Very professional and experienced! Dennis designed a new hardscape plan for our backyard / pool area. He helped from the initial concept and design to the final stone and plant placement. Will definitely use them again. Next project is interior design.
