Designing and crafting is our passion. Every piece of raw lumber, be it a cutting board or a bed build out has a unique design and approach to the final product. We hand select all wood and match wood tones while striving to have fluidity and process within the work required to achieve masterpieces. Everyday spent in the studio is a day of learning. Every project has a curve that starts with thought and ends with a finely crafted product. We utilized Edwood Studios when doing a home renovation project and needed to find white maple stair treads that matched the floors exactly. They came out, measured and had a sample to us that matched exactly within a few days. After seeing their work, we decided to add to their scope and include a pony wall and mantelpiece. Throughout the whole process we were kept informed and received picture updates. Truly flawless working with them from start to finish, not to mention the stunning wood work. Highly recommend!

In love with my custom desk! I asked Michael to make me a desk that spanned the entire length of my office + matching floating shelves for storage. It turned out so pretty and Michael was a pleasure to work with. He listened to all of my needs and concerns. The end result is A+.

Stunning work by Edwood Studio! Michael created a beautiful 9 foot shelf (piece of art) that worked so well with this odd-shaped wall. I've been stuck on how to finish this wall for almost 3 years now and I couldn't love it more! 5 stars for brilliant creativity and flawless execution!

Michael created a gorgeous walnut island top for our home. The finished piece is a work of art and the heart of our home. Michael was wonderful to work with and produced exactly what I had imagined in my design. He hand selected some gorgeous slabs with amazing character and richness in color and honed in on making a smooth natural finish. Michael is a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Looking forward to working together on my next project.

Michael did a fantastic job making a custom shoe cabinet for my client who has a downtown condo in Austin. I met him once and showed him what I wanted and he went to work. He is very easy to work with. He took my ideas and made them come to life. He gave me a fair price and delivered. He brought in a special vacuum with a HEPA filter when he was installing the cabinet to make sure no dust was left. He took all the precautions of making sure the install went smoothly.

Michael converted meeting ideas and about 20 emails into a reality! We have been pushing and marketing our project since the beginning of the year and Michael completely blew us away with a high quality cart that exceeded our expectations! Definitely would work again with him given the opportunity!

From the first email to the last finishing touch Edwood Studio was so easy to work with! Michael understood our vision of what we wanted, had plans sketched quickly and showed up every time, right on time. He created a gorgeous conference room table for us that really has the look we wanted and then helped us out by designing a matching credenza and reception desk that tied it all together. My wife and I needed a dining room table for a home we were building in Austin. We described the home to Michael, the timeframe for building the table and table design. From the very first call, Michael had great ideas for design, super enthusiastic about the project as well as being very personable and easy to work with. Michael delivered a truly one of a kind piece of furniture on the exact day we needed it. The quality is out of this world! If you are looking for someone to collaborate with on an exciting project, I would absolutely recommend Michael and Edwood Studio. Could not have had a better experience. Thank you!

I have designed custom furniture with Michael, and am currently working with him on a custom kitchen banquette and unique foyer storage system. He is fantastic at collaboration, has a great eye for detail and his craftsmanship is perfect. I hope to work with him again soon on cabinets for a remodel.
