We are makers of fine, museum quality custom furniture, individually handmade in our shop to the highest of standards. From the initial selection of the finest hardwoods, meticulous fitting of each joint, shaping, carving and hand planing of each surface through the final rub down of the finish, each and every piece we make is made with a goal to supply our clients with a superior finished piece of furniture. Whether you are looking for a custom designed piece, a period inspired piece, a fine antique reproduction, or a contemporary design, each piece is individually handmade to the highest of standards with a meticulous attention to detail. Inspiration comes from many forms and styles of fine traditional furniture of our past, including: William and Mary, Queen Anne, Chippendale, Federal, Shaker, Mission, and styles of later contemporary designs. Our handmade furniture is made using time tested techniques and joinery methods, including hand-cut dovetails, and mortise and tenon. We use only the finest hardwoods available today such as Cherry, mahogany, walnut and tiger maple to name a few. Material is meticulously hand selected for each piece of furniture, in most cases from the same tree to ensure perfectly matched grain and color throughout. All of the wood we use is from sustainable sources.
