Butler Floors

We build anything in wood with an emphasis on mesquite (i.e. doors, floor, cabinets, etc). Butler Floors, is also known Mesquite Creations, is a partnership between Scott Butler and Hector Mata. We have taken our collective 50 years of experience of working with wood and brought it you to create wonderful wooden creations. Scott has a background and a particular interest in free form furniture that has its roots in Adirondack furniture. Hector is a master craftsman with a background in custom doors, cabinets, and an expert in all things wooden. Scott Butler's Bio: I started cutting mesquite with my saw mill 25 years ago and caught the mesquite bug way back then. I remember the first time I recognized the unique beauty of mesquite. I was at a friend’s house and we were sitting on his couch. He had his feet resting on top of his mesquite coffee table. When I started to look at the table I could see flashes of light and wild grain and a depth of wine red color that made the coffee table beautiful. In that moment I was hooked. Crafting fine wood pieces of furniture out of mesquite is difficult work but the payoff is oh so worth it.
