Becky Johnstone Textiles

Becky Johnstone has worked as an artist and professional textile designer for over twenty years; based around the world designing for textile mills in the UK, US, EU, Asia and Australia. She has designed pattern for rugs and carpets for many interior design and architectural firms, as well as with major luxury hospitality brands such as Four Seasons, W Hotels, Starwood’s, Hilton and Accor to name a few. Her work sits in many luxury residential and hospitality interiors. Becky Johnstone Fabrics and Wallpapers are a celebration of the subtlety and detail in Becky’s illustrations, which are classically drafted and hand painted in her studio in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, UK. Fabrics and Wallpapers are only printed to order, reducing waste and other overuse of resources. Our fabrics are 100% Linen, all natural, no petroleum based products. Our techniques and approach has been honed from training in fine art, fashion and luxury hospitality interiors, teamed with a passion for gesture-of-hand and tactility. Conservation, habitats and the joy of Creation are Becky’s inspiration, History and the human spirit are also constant reference point.
