Norbert the Handyman

My name is Norbert and I have been in the construction industry for over 13 years. I had the privilege to work with highly skilled professionals from all trades and got to learn from the very best. I arrived to UK 8 years ago and have been continuously working and living here ever since. I am very hard working and a perfectionist so I always make sure that every job is finished to the highest standard. No small detail can be overlooked. I love working with people and fulfilling their dream is very rewarding. I always make sure I give 110% and I only leave when the client is happy! I had been working along smaller teams (2-5 people) doing mainly refurbishments for the first few years of my career. This has taught me to be handy in all aspects of any trade. I learned to work with carpenters, electricians, plumbers and painter and decorators. The later was my main role in this team. Upon arriving to UK I mainly worked on new builds which was a different challenge. I got to know the materials used in the UK and familiarised myself with the regulations to make sure I don’t make an unlawful mistake. I always comply with rules and regulations and ensure that all health and safety guidelines are met while working for clients. Over the last eight years I have worked on multi million pound prestigious sites in central london as well as working with clients individually. Both are challenging but none are impossible. I live in Coulsdon with my wife and two daughters who keep me busy whenever I’m home. I like travelling and hiking and staying in my workshop all day whenever my wife allows it. Fixing things are my passion and I take pride in every job I finish.
