Unfortunately had a very poor experience with Handyman Connection, and it's contractor. What was suppose to be a 1 day project turned into a 7 week disaster. The contractor they used had such a poor attitude the entire time, and made mistake after mistake and tried to take too many shortcuts that resulted in extremely poor quality of work that continually needed to be redone. The contractor kept talking about how poor the company was, and specifically used many vulgarities in describing the owner of the company as well. After attempting to deal with the owner, I can see where the contractor was coming from. Once the problems started, I attempted to contact the owner on multiple occasions. Was told they would always call me back - never did once, despite knowing there were problems. Then, when collecting payment after this nightmare project was over, the owner finally tried to talk to me right on the way out as the contractor was several hours late and wouldn't move their vehicle out of the way for me to leave. I told the owner I did not have time to talk to them at that moment, and then got a "grow up" email from the owner later that night (amazingly unprofessional), simply because I did not have time to *finally* talk to them at that exact moment after they *never* returned any of my messages over the last several weeks. On top of that, they tried to bill me for work that was part of the signed scope. Lesson learned - will never hire a company that simply outsources the work to independent contractors. Too risky, and quite frankly they don't care when things go wrong. They will say "Well I could've just left the job..." ... Again, crazy unprofessional.

Handyman Connection has handled a variety of projects for me since 2009 (eight in total), and I very much appreciate their versatility and willingness to listen to my issues before estimating the cost. One project involved coordinating among specialties to find a corroding pipe, open up walls and ceiling with minimal damage to the surrounding rooms, replace a section of pipe, & then repair walls and ceilings on two floors. It was a successful collaboration. Other projects included reinstalling screens on second floor windows and caulking windows, all from a ladder. Also sealing around a fireplace to keep out the insect life. On two occasions the workmen figured out a better way to handle what I wanted done and the finished projects are still working for me while also satisfying the WSSC inspector’s requirements. One result was quite a cost savings for me. Couldn’t ask for better help and very much appreciate this company.

This company is very fine. They assigned a very experienced and multi-capable professional repair man to us and let him bid and service all the various jobs we wanted done in and around the perimeter of our home. They did not rush through the list but rather completed each item to our satisfaction. They repaired plaster and painted ceilings and walls, sanded floors and matched stain to existing wood in area, repaired and painted outside cement steps, painted outside house trim, repaired rotted door frame wood and changed door locks to one master key for entry.

The handyman was very professional and did a wonderful job installing my chandelier and medicine cabinet as well as hanging some vertical blinds and pictures. This is the second time I have used this company (first time for lamp post and mailbox installation), and I have had an overall positive experience both times.

Ryan is simply the best. I'm not sure which adjectives to use, polite, courteous, friendly, engaging, professional, meticulous, and "knows his stuff" - to name a few. The flooring project went smoothly without one glitch or delay. I am honestly elated with the work that was done. I will, without a doubt, recommend Handyman Connection; I've had nothing but excellent outcomes!!!
