Washington County Landscapes, Landscape Architect and Contractor, is a full-service, design-build landscape architecture company specializing in landscape design, installation, maintenance, and irrigation on both commercial and residential properties. From retaining walls to drainage features in your landscape, Lucas strives to make the functional beautiful. Lucas Stroech, our resident Landscape Architect and owner, is a hometown boy who loves raising his own family in the beautiful Washington County Area. Lucas is a Class of 2000 Texas A&M Aggie, where he was honored to study Italian Landscape Architecture abroad for a fall semester. Following graduation from the landscape architecture program of Texas A&M, he went to work for a firm in Houston. Before long, it was time to return to his roots and follow a lifelong dream of opening a firm of his own: Washington County Landscapes opened in 2010. We are proud of the spaces that we have created for our customers, and we look forward to working with you to create a space for lasting memories!

Good plan, good execution with lots of color. The sprinkler system and drainage are excelent. Very pleased with the professional service and outcome.

I have been doing business with Washington County Landscaping for about 12-14 years. Primarily with irrigation projects - expansion, replacing controls, etc. Major plant grooming, and top dressing my lawn. After the freeze of 2021, I had some major plants killed and Lucas brought in his team and redesigned my front flowerbeds and planted new plants. One of our favorite jobs of Washington County was their complete design and installation of plants and trees in our neighbors yard directly in front of our home, giving us a beautiful view each time we look out our front door.

This landscaping company did a terrific job and we are truly enjoying the landscaping they did for us on our newly-renovated house and 15 acres in Washington County. Super job and we now have (a) a backyard (where there really wasn't one before due to the way the house was situated) with an extended patio; (b) great drainage that held up with the last 5.5 inch rain; (c) a great spot along the driveway full of pretty plants and (d) a nice nook for me to play with my plants along the alleyway to the back. Appreciate all you did and just wanted to thank you for doing a super job. We are happy to serve as a reference for Lucas and his team! Creative ideas, everything fits the scale of the house and excellent execution.

Wonderful, cheerful crew led by Lucas. They're prompt, knowledgeable, and fast. I have zero complaints. Happy client. Ours is a new build out in the county. Crew had to park equipment in the front meadow but they smoothed ruts out as they left. Thanks, Lucas and crew, and also to Chris Ann for staying in touch and managing the monies.

Luke and his crew do exceptional work. We highly recommend Washington Co. Landscapes. Very fair pricing and Luke does not try to over sell you. He gives you what you want, but he is good at suggesting the right plants for you. If you are in a hurry and want it this weekend, that will not happen. Lucas is a very talented landscape architect. He has designed and installed numerous projects for us, from our ranch entrance to a complete outdoor living area, including a pool and outdoor kitchen. HIs attention to detail is exceptional. He and his team are professional, honest and hardworking.
