We are a team of designers who create spaces with quality design that fits client needs. Waibel & Associates firm owner, Janet Waibel is Arizona's leader in horticulture and sustainable landscape maintenance and is the author of "Sustainable Landscape Management: Standards for Landscape Care in the Desert Southwest". Our expertise in landscape architecture and design is a result of considering client lifestyles and the features of the property when forming design concepts. Our design concepts create excellent spaces based on the design principles of rhythm and line, balance and proportion and defining focal points. Functionality is another goal in our landscape design. Long-term costs and maintenance are considered. If design and endurance in materials is a priority, give us a call. This is a process. We are willing to take the time to tweak things to be right! My very small front yard has two large trees that made growing grass a disaster. I wanted desert landscaping but had no idea how to proceed nor did the landscape people I consulted. Then I found Janet's company. She listened to my desires and then designed the project and coordinated the work with the landscaper preparing the ground, the irrigation system and plantings. I hired and coordinated the company that laid the rock and boulders following Janet's design and suggestions. I could not have done it without her. She had the vision and professional skills to enable the rest of us to play our parts resulting in a job well done coming in within my budget. I am so pleased with the result and so are my neighbors.

We are building a new home and Waibel & Associates are doing the plans for our front and backyard. They have been very through and patient. We have had to make changes due to two HOA's and not great guidelines to follow. Janet and her team have listened to us, read HOA guidelines and stuck to them, and have given us beautiful plans. Janet has met with our landscaper and builder several times and continues to call me and stop by the lot to see how things are going. Janet even came to the lot to meet with us and HOA board members. I would highly recommend Waibel & Associates!

I'm very happy with our newly remodeled back yard and I enjoyed working with Janet and her team. Janet's background is in horticulture as well as planning and design, so when I described the look I wanted, she really listened and came up with ideas and plants I hadn't considered. We went through several iterations of drawings for the yard, and each time Janet made modifications to reduce costs, add lighting, make the seat wall more interesting, and add new focus on the patio and flagstone walkway. Her team is excellent too, and responded quickly to every phone call, text and email I sent. The construction crew arrived on time, cleaned up afterwards and did excellent work. I would hire Waibel and Associates again. In fact, I plan to. Next year I want them to come back and do my front yard.

This is the second project done for my family by Waibel and Associates. We have been very pleased with the results of their designs, attention to detail, customer service and follow-through in all aspects of the projects. Janet answers her phone or returns calls promptly when the client calls her with comments or questions. We would happily use this company again in the future.
