I hired the Wagner Nursery team to do a backyard patio project for me this past spring. I chose them because I had been to two of their nurseries and the landscaping and quality of their plants were amazing. I also really liked the fact that their business is focused on family and a strong work ethic. I totally made the right decision! Marc and his brothers Nick and Jake did a beautiful job with a stamped concrete patio, pergola, moss rocks and other perennial plantings. And the fire pit is gorgeous - I love it. The Wagners were professional, showed up when they said they would and communicated with me on all aspects of the project. I'm very pleased and am happy to recommend Wagner's to anybody and everybody!

I can't speak highly enough of the work Wagner Nursery/Landscaping did for me. My yard is small, on an incline, was full of weeds and quite embarrassing. I had no vision but knew I wasn't going to pull another weed. They came up with the plan and work was done quickly. Now my yard is clean, serene and frankly beyond my expectations. I am delighted to show off my yard and can't wait for the snow to melt this spring!

I’ve had different landscapers at various properties over the years, and Wagner Landscaping, by far, is the best. They planted many spruce trees, and thanks to Mark Wagner’s diligence and expertise, the trees are thriving, in spite of very challenging conditions. He has what I call 3 organic, magical elixirs that we applied to the trees, and what a difference that treatment made! He also came down during a windy, rainy Sunday, with family, to secure some endangered trees with stakes. Wagner is the best landscaping company in MT.

Wagner Nursery & Landscaping Company totally transformed our home into a beautiful mountain retreat. We build our home in 2014 with the garage and another building in 2016. We decided 2017 was the year for landscaping. We contacted Wagner because of their reputation in southwest Montana. We met with Marc Wagner in early spring and discussed ideas. He prepared and estimate and they started in June. We could not be more pleased with the results. Their crews are extremely hard working and professional and the work they do is truly artistic. Marc Wagner and his team did a very professional and time honored landscape job on our rural property. They were creative but allowed my input to adjust changes along the way resulting in a beautiful new front yard with fresh curb appeal to our log cabin. I would highly recommend them and will continue to work with them in the future. I cannot say enough about how hard they worked with great equipment and products, so very pleased!

For our new home, Wagner's installed a sprinkler system along with large yards front and back. The yard in back was on a steep slope and required some extra planing and execution. In addition, they installed a beautiful rock retaining wall and rock staircase to the upper level. Several small trees, and shrubs were also planted. They were very good to work with and on time and budget.

I've had the chance to work with Wagner's Nursery several times. Each & every landscape project has been completed when promised, as promised. They are a family business who cares about their customers, their employees and the finished product. They listened to our wants/needs/budget and delivered beautiful finished projects incorporating both the native rocks & landscape along with beautiful new trees, shrubs & bedding. Fabulous job for Spoon's Rock Creek Ranch. Gearing up to do another large project this summer & wouldn't work with anyone but Wagner's Nursery!

We have been working with Wagner Nursery & Landscaping Company for several years now and they are exceptional at what they do. They put their client's dream in front of all else. This is our cabin next to a river. It needed to be natural and fit into the landscape and not be "urban". Most landscapers we asked wanted to make it look like it was in a subdivision, but Mark understood what we were going for and it is beautiful! Simple but with beautiful natural stone accents, retaining walls, and drought tolerant grass. It fits in the natural landscape yet elevates it to look inviting and homey. Well done!

Wagner Nursery was a great family-owned/operated company to work with. They are knowledgable, honest and hard-working. My project was a xeriscape, low-water/maintenance design that has worked out well thus far. Per the City's water billing information, my water use is about 10% of the average BZN residence, in large part due to the landscape design (not to mention the reduced run-off of fertilizers, herbicides, etc. to adjacent waterways). Also, the lack of mowing saves a lot of time/cost that can be put towards other priorities. Wagner has a good selection of stone materials for decoration, retaining and mulching - this is one of their specialites/strong suits. Wagner was very straight-forward and straight-up to work with - we collaborated on the design, and although the project was started a bit later then originally planned, when work began, the entire project was completed the same week. They showed up with a 4-man crew on a Monday, who all worked diligently until completion on Friday of the same week (I was on-site through-out, working with the Wagner crew). Punchlist was essentially non-existent, and I also got some follow-up consultation/review from Wagner, all of which was good. Although a xeriscape style is not to everyone's taste, I have had a number of walk-by complements on the landscaping, as well as people noting the low-water and maintenance needs (and associated costs) of the project. [ One party wanted to know if I had any extra stone materials I could sell them and a neighbor not far away has torn out part of the lawn around their new house and replaced it with similar xeriscaping.] Some of the plantings have already grown a surprising amount since these project-end photos were taken. I would recommend your consideration of Wagner Nursery for your project.
