Tore up an old brick patio/ sidewalk and disposed of all waste. Excavated with great care not to damage the surrounding property. Built a new patio with pavers which included a sitting wall, pergola, and a fireplace. I was very pleased with Mr. Ritchey's professionalism and the completed project. He started at the date promised and finished as promised.

We hired Ritchey Hardscapes to build a retaining wall next to our driveway and a smaller wall for a raised flower bed. We were very pleased with the work that was done. We have received many comments from people as to how nice the wall looks and have recommended Ritchey Hardscapes to others. The men did a professional job in a timely manner and always kept the work site neat while the project was being done.

Chris Ritchey and his crew installed a stone couch, fire pit, patio and walkway on our property using Techo-Bloc pavers. We could not be more pleased. The design of the stone couch with the random placement of different sizes and shapes of blocks is very eye appealing. The walkway was expertly installed on a hill with several different slopes and pitch. His crew were very polite, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. There was no damage to the surrounding landscaping even though access to the target site was extremely difficult. His contract proposal was easy to understand and detailed. The payment terms were very fair with 1/3 down and the rest due at completion. The landscaping he performed after the installation restored our lawn to its original state. All excess block, shale, sand and debris were cleaned up and hauled away promptly. The work was completed in a very timely manner.

I hired this company to pave a area, from our back door and front gate, to the patio. The job is beautiful and I know it added value to our home. We also had two walls build and they tied them into the paving job, that when people come and look at it, they go "Wow". They grated the paving in a way that the water runs off of it and I don't have to worry about ice in the winter and the water is kept off of the patio. I would recommend this company highly. They came when they said they were coming, came early and worked late. Each one, knew their job and did it well. I would love to add photo's, but no instruction on how to put them on this site.
