Ohana Natural Landscaping is a design and installation company focusing on providing our clients with absolutely beautiful natural hardscaping, water features, and outdoor space design. We work very closely with our clients to ensure we get the design aesthetic and functionality they are looking for perfectly to their satisfaction. ONL often uses large boulders and stones, natural flagstone, river cobble and environmentally formed rock and incorporates these lovely materials into our client's spaces. Be it a Zen Garden, patio, firepit, waterfall, koi pond, retaining wall, terracing, walkways/pathways, stone steps, deck building, etc. we focus on bringing beautiful materials to our client's homes in both a truly functional, but also beautiful way. We consider it a true honor to be invited to work on our client's homes, and treat every job with this mindset in mind. We work closely with my clients to deliver unique, beautiful installations created and designed specifically for their personal landscape aesthetics and individual spaces. A simple french drain type of install is on the lower end of this price range, while something like a 50 ft drystack retaining wall might be towards the upper end. It entirely depends on the project!

Ohana Natural Landscaping has completed several projects in our neighborhood, which we have always admired. When it was time to work on our home, it was the first and, ultimately, the only company we called. Walt Barber is highly professional and wonderful to work with. His communication is terrific, he shows up on time, and he is very knowledgeable and creative. He makes sure everything is done right. We absolutely LOVE the work that he has done for us and highly recommend him to anyone who would like landscaping work done to their home. I first noticed Ohana Natural Landscaping when walking by a neighborhood project in our development. He immediately was cheerful, insightful about his project, and his skill for his work was clearly evident. We recently had him work on our side entrance of our garage which leads to our back yard. He was timely, creative with his vision, and gave a quick turn around for ideas/estimate. Walt isn't a person who does this just as his job- he can see the project differently and seems to really enjoy using his talent and background education to make the space unique. Great to work with. Our project turned out even better than I had expected and we look forward to additional projects in the future! Definitely would recommend Ohana Landscaping to others!

Walt is an amazing guy to work with. Easy going, creative, and full of really fun & unique ideas for incorporating rocks in all forms and shapes into the landscape. Walt did several small areas in our courtyard, and made it look like a creek runs through it, really pulling them together. He is now helping us with several large beds and I can't wait to see what he comes up with.

Working with Walt Barber was incredible! He designed and installed a series of dry stack rock terraces. He listened well to our vision and executed it onto paper first and then into reality. He's very knowledgeable and experienced with a variety of materials. Everything he recommended was perfect for our landscaping and erosion mitigation needs. Throughout the project, we valued his flexibility with the minor changes we suggested and his attention to detail. Above all though we appreciated his excellent communication and timely updates about materials on order, his work schedule, and all aspects of the project. We couldn't be more pleased. The end result is far better than we could have imagined. Several neighbors have already engaged him in their own landscape improvement projects after seeing our results. It should also be mentioned that during the project, our fence got bumped with his machinery and he replaced the post. It wasn't necessary, but he is that conscientious and responsible.

Lots of choices deciding which stones to use. He picked up and brought them to my property. I was very pleased with the way the “wall” turned out. He chipped and cut the stones so that they’d look good together as well as fitting together, like they’ve always been there. Putting surrounding stones around two of the smaller areas on my property were a last-minute decision on my part, and he handled that with the same attention and detail to these smaller jobs as he had with the much larger one (above). A genuinely nice young man, soft spoken and polite.
