In over 35 years of design and installation work, with thousands of clients and tens of thousands of projects, we have NEVER received a review even remotely like this.

Perhaps that in itself should be enough to put the merit of this review in question. But the truth is, even one disappointed client is too many. On the occasion when a client would raise an issue or concern, (even something as minor as replacing plant material with that of a different shade!), we strive to satisfy. The result has been a tremendous amount of repeat business and referrals through the years…And for this, we are tremendously grateful.

Unfortunately, we did, in fact, go to great lengths to satisfy Mr. Jennings’ unique requests. Admittedly, we were not able to accommodate his direction to perform work on neighboring properties (in order to improve the view from his property), without the permission of the owners.

We resisted his efforts to instruct our crews as to the proper installation of hardscape materials, which they in fact, have been installing without complaint for decades.

We requested signed change orders, per our contract, on the many occasions he deviated from the approved plan and the signed agreements.

And our company owner spent many an hour on-site reviewing progress when Mr. Jennings wasn’t home; and often returned to the property (even on the same day) for no other reason than to accommodate Mr. Jennings’ request for his presence.

In addition, we adjusted our processes to assuage Mr. Jennings desire to direct the crews (a requirement we were not aware of until work began)…And in spite of the inefficiency that caused, we provide many hours of additional work at no charge.

So we are admittedly surprised that, following completion of several projects last October, we never received a complaint or a request of any kind from Mr. Jennings. In fact, we received a very nice referral from Mrs. Jennings earlier this spring. So we are saddened now, eight months later, to receive a negative review, without ever having received any message of concern.

Again, one poor review is too many, and we would have been willing to try yet again to resolve Mr. Jennings complaint, had we been given the opportunity.
