I was recently involved in a home sale in The Villages and a non functioning rain sensor on the irrigation system was found during an inspection. The irrigation system controller was a Hunter Pro-C with Solar Sync. I quickly found out that this set up has history of failure. I also found out that I couldn’t find parts or someone knowledgeable/willing to repair the system. I was told and promised by different landscape/irrigation companies that I would be taken care of, but talk was cheap and I couldn’t get anyone to actually do anything. I then received a preferred vendors list from The Villages Sales Office. I contacted Artisan Outdoor Living. I was put in contact with Austin. Austin set up a time to come to home to repair the faulty irrigation rain sensor. Austin also sent out a reminder email the day of the service call as an additional courtesy. Austin arrived on time and ready to work. Austin provided a written estimate of repair. When work order was approved he began his task of replacing old wired rain sensor with new wireless sensor. I noticed Austin’s work van was in good condition, shrink wrapped with Artisan Outdoor Living logo’s, and was well stocked with work supplies. Austin is well groomed, respectful, and knowledgeable. Austin did an excellent job, and will do an excellent job for you as well. Austin just completed a thorough review of my irrigation system and offered suggestions to improve it while at the same time saving water. He installed a new controller that allows me to manage the system from my phone and gives me up-to date information on the system as well as weather data that informs the system regarding watering necessity and duration. Austin is very professional and can explain things to people like me who are semi-computer illiterate so I can understand. It has been a great experience.

Austin White replaced my irragation controller, upgraded the wiring connecters in the outside control box, and replaced a sprinkler head. He is a fine young man and is very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend Austin and Artisan Outdoor Living. They are a little pricey, but do quality work.
