Hawksdale Landscaping

It all started with Anthony Delpero, the owner/operator of Hawksdale Landscaping. He grew up in a family consisting of contractors. From his youth he has had the opportunity to take part in projects ranging from bathrooms to patios, roofs to sheds, fences to tiles, painting to mechanics; from early on he has been acquiring knowledge of construction. Anthony always knew that he would be involved in construction and during the summer months he would work for various contractors getting a feel for the different trades and their uniqueness while finding his place in the industry. Shortly after withdrawing from a mechanics program at Centennial College in 1998 Anthony found himself working in the landscaping/snow removal industry and knew this was where he was to stay. He worked for a few different companies from 1999 through to 2003 gaining knowledge and different techniques that were shaping him for his future. He found himself working on a wide range of landscaping projects from interlock, flagstone, carpentry, water features to lawn maintenance even pruning and pesticides. His knowledge of the industry grew quickly and he decided he needed to take it further. In 2003 Anthony made a decision to thrive in this industry and took his first step by enrolling himself into Humber College's well respected Landscape Technician program. Anthony studied construction theory and techniques, horticulture, arboriculture, botany and soils, residential design, pests and disease, and plant propagation to name a few. He was also involved in building displays at Congress and Canada Blooms on behalf of Humber. Armed with his diploma and half a decade of experience, Anthony started a part-time company in 2005 he called Delpero Landscaping. He noticed a void in the industry, many landscape projects were falling apart within a few years of their installation. Many walls were getting pushed forward; stairs were settling and driveways showing tire ruts. He took note that many landscape projects were installed incorrectly; therefore he would fill the void by offering proper installations to ensure a good investment for his clients. Soon Anthony got a reputation for his quality services.
